There is much work and time that goes into each individual client's program After *** *** left our office, we immediately went to work for herWe entered her information into our system, created her profile, conducted her national background check, etcWe were waiting for *** *** to complete her profile in order to get her account activatedShe completed her profile on 3/and we activated her program on 3/4, once everything was completed on our endWe then matched her with her first match on 3/11, which was one week after her account was activatedWe did have this gentleman in mind for h.er, but the matching process is one that takes timeWe explain to our clients and send an e-mail explaining that it can take up to weeks for the first referralShe received her first match rather quickly
However, things did not work out as planned and her match did not contact her for some reason, Sometimes things can happen that are out of our control and
we would hope that *** *** would understand thisWe apologized to *** *** on her match's behalf, told her we would search for a new match and agreed to not count this match towards her programWe then had to go back to the drawing board and search for a new, best possible match for *** ***In our Rules and Regulations, we explain that there is no time frame or frequency of matches, but we do search on our clients' behalf on a monthly basisWe need to ensure that each match is the best possible match and, of course, the most "mutually compatible", per the clients' profiles
*** *** e-mailed us expressing her disappointment and requested a refund on 3/We immediately called her upon receipt of her e-mail and listened to her concerns, She expressed that she felt a type of "rejection" feeling since her first match didn't contact her and she hadn't received a new match yetWe reiterated the process and explained that we were looking at a few possibilities for her, We just had to check their availability, etcShe appreciated that and we ended the call
We were able to find *** *** next match on 4/11. Unfortunately, *** *** and this gentleman were co-workers, which we were not aware ofPlease note that we ask our clients for their occupations, but we do not know what companies they work forTherefore, we would not have been able to predict that *** *** and this man worked togetherThis seemed to greatly upset *** ***, as it appeared to embarrass her more than anything, which is understandable*** *** contacted us on 4/and, once again, expressed her disappointment, requested a refund and said she would be contacting the Revdex.comWe reached out to *** *** as soon as we received her e-mail, but we did not get in contact with her
We then received a charge-back for *** *** for the fee she paidWe responded with all supporting documentation and informationThe case was closed in our
fa\lorWe then reached out to *** *** yet again and had a very lengthy conversation with herWe continued to try and resolve her issues and explain that she needed to remain patient with the program. She had only just begun and had purchased matchesSome people meet someone right away, but for most it can take time*** ***
was adamant that she wanted a refund and nothing elseShe was not willing to cooperateWe explained that we would have someone else reach out to her
Another representative called *** *** when we received her Revdex.com complaint and left a message. Almost a week later now, we still have not heard back
As you can see, we have provided everything promised to *** *** thus farWe're sorry that she has been frustrated and we can empathize with her frustration
However, this does not warrant a refund, especially since our fee is non-refundable*** *** needs to allow the program some time to work for herWe want nothing more than to continue working with her and try to find her someone specialWe know there is someone out there for *** *** and we want to help her find himWe ask that she contacts us and continues to work with usWe are here for her and only have her best interest at heart

[redacted] I really would like to receive a partial refund.  The response they sent to you fails to state the 3rd gentlemen made a date with, cancelled 2 hrs before due to rain.  He called one week later to state he may be in Richmond that Sunday so I did not make plans.  I never heard from him for 2 days.  He stated he was helping some ladies remove a tree.  He could have had the been thoughtful enough to let me know that so I did not wait around. I thought about this for the past two days, if the company has not been able to provide matches since January, what is going to make a difference now.  I am not asking for the whole amount.

our clients with those who are most mutually compatible with them, according to
their profile information. Some clients receive matches frequently...

while others
may wait some time in between referrals. It all depends on various factors – the
#1 factor being compatibility. We will not provide a match just for the sake of
doing so. This is what separates us from a typical dating service. We are an
elite matchmaking firm who specializes in finding lasting relationships for our
clients. We have our clients’ best interests at heart and only strive for the
success of each and every one of our clients.Yes, Ms. [redacted] joined Virginia
Singles in July, 2014. Ms. [redacted] purchased 8 matches and 6 months of hold time
if needed. We had several matches for Ms. [redacted], but she did not connect with
them all for one reason or another. Match #1– Ms. [redacted] spoke with her match over the phone for a period of time and decided he was not for her. At some point during the conversation, Ms. [redacted] told the gentleman that she was in a relationship. Ms. [redacted] also seems to be concerned that this man allegedly had 6 matches prior to her, but this was not the case. Also, we are not at liberty to discuss other clients or their programs, due to privacy reasons. Everyone has their own experience and some people have to meet a few matches in order to find someone they connect with. It is a process for everyone.  We continued our search on behalf of Ms. [redacted]. We spoke or emailed Ms. [redacted] on several occasions to keep her updated on our searches and possible matches. Match #2 – Ms. [redacted] declined meeting this man after she first stated she would “give him a chance”. We spoke with her prior to setting up the match and she agreed to meet this gentleman. However, Ms. [redacted] did not end up meeting him and responded in her feedback that he was “too old” for her. Match # 3 –When they spoke over the phone, this man mentioned he was in a relationship at that time, which we were unaware of. He did not communicate this to us before the match was set up. We ask our clients to keep us updated on their statuses, but not everyone remembers to do so. We understand how that can be embarrassing for Ms. [redacted] and we do sympathize with her.[redacted]Please note that the gentlemen that Ms. [redacted]
spoke of in her letter were two different gentlemen. They were both named [redacted],
but they had different professions and are different people. There
were also two other gentlemen we presented to Ms. [redacted] during the course of
her program, but unfortunately, she declined meeting them.As
you can see, we have been working hard on behalf of Ms. [redacted]. Although our
matchmakers have worked hard performing match searches, setting up matches,
etc, we have “bonused back” all of Ms. [redacted]’s previous matches. We hope to
prove to Ms. [redacted] that we have her best interest at heart.We
would like to mention that Ms. [redacted] received a copy of our Regulations pamphlet which states the
following important information under paragraphs #3 and #4: 3.   ReferralsCompatibility
is very subjective and we will send you referrals we deem, in our sole and
absolute discretion as “likely most mutually compatible” as indicated in your
singles’ data. The final determination to meet a referral is yours and yours
alone. You understand and agree that we will supply you referrals on an
as-available basis. Because we try to send compatible referrals, you understand
and agree that there is no way for us to predict the frequency and time frame
of each referral. However, we will search on your behalf on a monthly basis,
but we will only match you with others that we feel you are compatible with.
You further understand that no two people are generally perfectly compatible
and agree that we will use our best judgment in providing referrals that most
nearly match your requirements.4.  
Mutual AgreementYou understand and agree that simply because you choose to
meet with a single that we have referred to you does not mean that such single
will agree to meet with you. It is impossible for us to guarantee that any
single to whom you have been referred will agree to meet with you. You
understand that you will not like everyone you meet and that some of those you
meet may not like you.[redacted]As
stated above, we explain to our clients that we are matching them with those
who are most mutually compatible, we cannot predict the time frame and/or
frequency of referrals and our clients will not agree to meet everyone they are

the ONLY way she can be successful with her program is to fulfill ALL
obligations and expectations listed above. Per this signed form, Ms. [redacted] also
agreed to meet all of her purchased matches so that
she may give Virginia Singles the full opportunity to meet her expectations of
the program. She also agrees not to go to any outside agency before trying to
resolve any issues directly with our staff.Our

have been unable to connect as of yet, but we hope for them to speak soon. We
want nothing more than to discuss Ms. [redacted]’s concerns with her and, hopefully,

First of all I did not receive a potential first match until March 23 not January 23. January 23 is when I received an e-mail from [redacted] welcoming me on board. Secondly, I've only received 3 potential matches not 4. There's no reason to lie about anything which is what is happening. I don't like the lying!

My complaint is that the company does not have the quality of gentlemen available that was promised during my initial meeting with [redacted].  [redacted] told me she had three gentleman - physicans, etc. that would meet my criteria that she could think of right off the top of her head!  Since the initial meeting, I have been provided five names, one of which was actually a gentleman who met my criteria. However, I do not believe he was 6 ft. tall as he stated and we went out twice but there was no chemistry.  So since I have had one good date, I am asking for the refund to be prorated 7/8 since the deal was 8 dates for $4495.00. The other gentlemen did not meet my criteria.  One was shorter than I requested, one still had children in the home, one was extremely rude, one was a technician although I have asked to be matched with professionals.  Every step of the way, I have to actually feel like I am hounding the Virginia Singles employees who say things to me like, we are helping other clients, we can't look for a match for you when we are on the phone.  I was the one who had to point out the fact that the matches were not to my criteria and I don't really know what I am paying them for at this point.  The whole debacle has caused me nothing but stress.
I want my money back.  They obviously do not have the product that they promised - reliable, honest, Christian gentle men in my age group and with similar lifestyles and paychecks.  They made promises they can't keep.  They lied to me and I want a refund.  They claim it can take up to eight weeks to make a match - that is because they do not have the matches in their inventory.  In 2014, there are databases that can make matches in moments....it should take very little manual intervention to create a match, certainly not several weeks. 
Please let me know my next steps to pursue this farther.

client. The first gentleman we matched her with showed to be very compatible,

to their profile information, hobbies and interests, and, most
importantly, the 21 compatibility indicators in their profiles. Everything
looked great, per the information we had. Ms. [redacted]’s match fit her requests for
age, height, marital status, children, education, religion, relationship goal,
drinking/smoking, exercise, etc. Although this man showed to be “average” in
size, he informed us that he exercised 5 or more times per week. They are both
Christians who attend services weekly, they both have higher levels of
education, etc. We were very excited about them meeting one another.To our
dismay, there was no connection and/or chemistry between Ms. [redacted] and her
match. Although everything looked good and there was much time and research
which went into the matching process, we agreed to “comp” or “bonus back” this
match for Ms. [redacted]. We wanted her to understand that we are interested in her
success more than anything.Ms. [redacted] was provided her first match on 1/17. After she provided feedback and things
did not work out between them, we resumed our search. Please see the following
information below which is included in the Regulations we provided to Ms. [redacted]
upon joining our services:"Compatibility is very subjective and that we will send you
referrals we deem, in our sole and absolute discretion as "likely most
mutually compatible" as indicated in your singles data. The final
determination to meet a referral is yours and yours alone. You understand and
agree that we will supply you referrals on an as available basis. Because we
try to send compatible referrals, YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT THERE IS NO
WAY FOR US TO PREDICT THE FREQUENCY AND TIME FRAME OF EACH REFERRAL. However,
we will search on your behalf on a monthly basis, but we will only match you
with others that we feel you are compatible with. You further understand that
no two people are generally perfectly compatible and agree that we will use our
best judgment in providing referrals that most nearly match your
requirements."[redacted]As you can see, we try to give our clients realistic expectations
in regards to the program. We also explain that we cannot predict the time
frame or frequency of matches, but we search on our clients’ behalf on a
monthly basis. Also, under paragraph #4 in our Regulations it states:"You understand and agree that simply because you choose to
meet with a single that we have referred to you does not mean that such single
will agree to meet with you. It is impossible for us to guarantee that any
single to whom you have been referred will agree to meet with you. You
understand that you will not like everyone you meet and that some of those you
meet may not like you."We did have a match in mind for Ms.
[redacted] when she contacted us. We were waiting patiently to hear back from this
gentleman to see if he was okay with the distance between them. Ms. [redacted] approved
the match, but, unfortunately, the man declined the match due to distance.
Therefore, we went back to the drawing board. This was a couple weeks ago. We
are currently searching for another compatible match for Ms. [redacted].Please also note that we have various
package options to choose from and at times we have specials, just like any
other business. In addition, some people pay more money for more matches, less
money for less matches, etc. However, everyone receives what they purchase. We do not want Ms. [redacted] to think we
are not working for her or that we do not want success for her. We only wish to
assist her in finding her special someone. We ask that she remains patient and
understanding of the process. It can sometimes take time to find a companion. Thank you for your time.Regards,Virginia Singles

I am not satisfied with the offer made by Virginia Singles because they are not holding up their end of the contract.  They do not have the gentle men available to date that they told me they had when they sold me the contract.  That has been my complaint all along.  They have matched me with four out of five individuals who do not meet my requirements.  They told me they had gentle men available for me to date and that is not true.  They do not have men available who meet my requirements.  They lied to me during the interview and made me think those men were available and since joining I have been completely disappointed.  They do not have the product that they sold me.  They are in breach of their contract. 
I do not wish to settle this with them.  It is a no-win situation with them for me.  I want my money back.

We are honestly surprised to receive this complaint from Ms. [redacted]. Not only is everything right on schedule for her, but we have provided everything which was promised during her interview...

and according to her contract and our Rules and Regulations.  Ms. [redacted] has already received matches with 5 gentlemen in the course of less than 2 months. Upon receipt of this complaint, we reached out to Ms. [redacted] to discuss the situation. However, she was unreceptive to our desire for a resolution and stated that she would see what happens with the Revdex.com case. 
Ms. [redacted] purchased a program which consists of 8 matches/referrals, including the services that are involved in the process of providing these referrals. Ms. [redacted]’s contract clearly states that her fee is non-refundable. We would like to work with Ms. [redacted] and provide our services as contracted.
Ms. [redacted] joined our services on 8/18/14. She had an extensive interview in our office with a Relationship Specialist. They discussed Ms. [redacted]’s past relationships, what she is looking for in a partner, etc. We presented her with various package options for our different programs. For her fee, she not only receives matches, but also receives services such as the creation of her profile, background check, communication (e-mails, phone calls), maintenance of her account, recruiting men on her behalf, conducting searches for matches on her behalf by our matchmakers, etc. There are various staff members who work on Ms. [redacted]’s behalf on a daily basis. There is much work and time that goes into each individual client's program. 
After Ms. [redacted] left our office, we immediately began working for her and providing our services. We entered her information into our system, created her profile, conducted her national background check, etc. Once Ms. [redacted] completed her online profile and we finished everything on our end, we were able to activate her account. We did so on 8/27. We notify our clients that it can take up to 8 weeks to receive the first match. However, we were able to find Ms. [redacted]’s first match much sooner than that, on 8/28. We also had another gentleman that we wanted her to meet, so we matched her with another man on 8/28 as well. We also matched her with men on 9/3, 9/18 and 10/3. All of the men we have matched Ms. [redacted] with have been compatible with her, according to their profiles. We also explain to our clients that we will search on their behalf on a monthly basis for matches. Ms. [redacted] has been very fortunate to receive 5 compatible matches in such a short period of time.
We use preferences as a guideline for matching and try to come as close as possible to what our clients are looking for. We provided Ms. [redacted] with a Rules and Regulations pamphlet upon joining our services. She also agreed to having reviewed these Regulations under paragraph #1 in her contract.
In the Regulations, under paragraph #3 it states:
"Compatibility is very subjective and that we will send you referrals we deem, in our sole and absolute discretion as "likely most mutually compatible" as indicated in your singles data. The final determination to meet a referral is yours and yours alone. You understand and agree that we will supply you referrals on an as available basis. Because we try to send compatible referrals, you understand and agree that there is no way for us to predict the frequency and time frame of each referral. However, we will search on your behalf on a monthly basis, but we will only match you with others that we feel you are compatible with. You further understand that no two people are generally perfectly compatible and agree that we will use our best judgment in providing referrals that most nearly match your requirements."
[redacted]As you can see, we do our best to come as close as possible to what our clients are looking for, but not all criteria will match 100%. We want to give our clients every possible opportunity to meet someone special. Also, under paragraph #4 in our Regulations it states:

It is impossible for us to guarantee that any single to whom you have been referred will agree to meet with you. You understand that you will not like everyone you meet and that some of those you meet may not like you."
[redacted]As you can see, we try to give our clients realistic expectations in regards to their program. Our only goal is to help our clients find successful relationships, but it’s important for them to be patient, optimistic and flexible. We have had many couples connect that were outside of one another’s preferences. We all have an idea of our perfect match, but there are usually some things that are not to our exact liking. Also, when people fall in love, sometimes certain preferences do not even matter anymore.
Yes, Ms. [redacted]’s Relationship Specialist told her about 3 gentlemen in our program who fit what she was looking for. However, people’s availability can change on a daily basis, especially if someone is a great catch. The gentlemen which were mentioned are no longer available to meet Ms. [redacted]. However, this is not to say that other great gentlemen won’t come along or that the men we matched Ms. [redacted] with thus far aren’t great. Ms. [redacted] has been matched with some very nice, successful gentlemen. If she did not have a “connection” with them, that is okay. We continue the search and hope for the best with each and every match. 
Also, Ms. [redacted] signed a client obligation form which states that she is required to meet all of her purchased matches so that she may give Virginia Singles the full opportunity to meet her expectations of the program. She also agrees not to go to any outside agency before trying to resolve any issues directly with our staff. This includes contacting the Revdex.com.
As we mentioned, we reached out to Ms. [redacted] immediately upon receiving this complaint. We tried to discuss her program, preferences, etc., but she did not appear to be willing to discuss any further. She would like to see what happens with this case, but we are making every effort to resolve this matter directly with Ms. [redacted].
As you can see, we have provided everything promised to Ms. [redacted]. We’re sorry that she is unhappy with the services thus far. We believe that we have been working very hard for her, have introduced her to some great gentlemen and we’d only like to continue working with her to try and help her find someone special. Ms. [redacted] needs to allow the program some time to work for her. We know there is someone out there for Ms. [redacted] and we want to help her find him. We ask that she contacts us and continues to work with us. We are here for her and only have her best interest at heart.

Ms. [redacted],I definitely do not want to close this case.  Number one, Va Singles state they are crediting me back dates.  I never heard back from two of the dates so what are the crediting me with.  I paid $2,000 for a service of three dates which two of them never got back to me, I don't consider that a credit.  The last time I spoke with them a few weeks ago after they received Revdex.com notification they still had no one available.  If they cannot deliver the services they advertise then I feel a refund is expected.  I feel I deserve the $1,500 returned.  I know for a fact I'm not the first person this has happened to.

To Whom It May Concern,We are in
receipt of Ms. [redacted] complaint and will address her situation below.Ms. [redacted] joined
our services on 1/11/16. She had an extensive interview in our office with a
Relationship Specialist. They discussed Ms. [redacted] past relationships, what she
is looking for in a...

partner, etc. We presented her with various package options
for our different programs. Ms. [redacted] decided to purchase a program which consists
of 3 referrals/matches. For this fee, she not only receives matches, but also
receives services such as the creation of her profile, national background
check, uploading of photos, uploading of paperwork from interview, communication
(e-mails, phone calls), maintenance of her account, recruiting men on her
behalf, conducting searches for matches on her behalf by our matchmakers, etc.
There are various staff members who work on Ms. [redacted] behalf on a daily basis.
There is much work and time that goes into each individual client's program. Ms. [redacted] was
a client for less than a month when she first disputed her credit card charge.
She claimed that she felt our services are “not as described” or “defective”.
We responded to the case and showed that our services have been provided as
they were described and the case was closed in our favor.Ms. [redacted]
agreed to continue her program and we found a first match on 3/14. As Ms. [redacted]
mentioned, they spoke and the gentleman did not follow through with calling her
back. Therefore, we “comped” or “bonused back” this match for Ms. [redacted]. This
means she will receive an additional match at no additional charge to her.
Please note that this man has some college, but he is self-employed and very
successful. Most importantly, Ms. [redacted] and this man showed to be very compatible
with one another, according to the compatibility indicators in their profiles.
Compatibility is what makes a relationship last.The second
man we matched Ms. [redacted] with also showed to be very compatible with her. Yes, we
explain to our clients that we expect them to do “dutch” on their dates. No one
is responsible for picking up the entire bill and everyone should be prepared
to pay for what they order. However, some people may choose to pay the bill –
but some may not. It is important for everyone to remember that no one is
obligated.The third
man we matched Ms. [redacted] with is college educated, a Chief Engineer and is very
successful. He may like to fish and do outdoor activities, but this does not
mean he was not shown to be compatible with Ms. [redacted]. They share other common
interests, according to their profiles.In addition to signing
a non-refundable agreement, Ms.
[redacted] also signed a client obligation form which states that she understands the
ONLY way she can be successful with her program is to fulfill ALL obligations
and expectations listed on the form. Also, per this signed form, Ms. [redacted] agreed that she is
required to meet all of her purchased matches, so that she may give Virginia Singles
the full opportunity to meet her expectations of the program. She also agrees
not to go to any outside agency before trying to resolve any issues directly
with our staff. This includes contacting her credit card company and the RevDex.com. We would like for Ms. [redacted] to understand that by her contacting
the Revdex.com, this does not mean that she will receive a refund. We ask for her to
please review the terms of her signed agreement.Our records show that
we have communicated with Ms. [redacted] throughout the course of her program thus
far. We have spoken with her whenever she has contacted us and/or we have
returned her calls. Our clients must understand that we tend to the needs of
MANY clients on a daily basis and it may take 24-48 hours for us to return a
call.As you can see above,
we have provided Ms. [redacted] with our services promised thus far. We provide our
clients with various documents upon joining our services which explain
everything they can expect during their program, while trying to keep their
expectations realistic. We would like to continue working with Ms. [redacted]. We
sincerely want her to be successful in our program.
