Review: 1) I fell a little behind in my payments and made an agreement with [redacted] at S&S Auto Sales and mailed in my payment to catch up. [redacted] who is the Manager said they never received it and had my car towed. I had to pay $2,000 to get it out and then after that [redacted] called and said she found my payment. She would not admit it was there fault since they have so many turn over with employees my payment sat on a desk for a month.

2) My [redacted]'s transmission went out so I was trying to get it fixed and fell behind in payments again. I called [redacted] on Feb. 3rd to pay what I owed plus more and she said the only way I can keep my car is if I pay off the whole remaining balance. She said if I cannot pay the full $4,000 plus then she is sending me to collections. I have the money to pay more than what is owed and then within the next two months pay the rest but [redacted] said the only option is to pay the full balance. [redacted] and everyone else I've talked to there has been nothing but rude and disrespectful. [redacted] rather send me to collections than except my payment on a car that is not even running. I'll have this car paid of in 1 to 2 months but she will not except my payment. I've called every number S&S Auto Sales has online trying to reach someone else but everything redirects me to [redacted]. I'm so stuck on what to do since all I want to do it pay my car off.Desired Settlement: All I want to do it pay my car off so I can get the pink slip but I can't pay the full $4,000 plus. I can pay close to that and then the remaining balance shortly after. Please help me get this matter resolved. I do not want to go to collections but [redacted] is so unreasonable and the worst person to talk to.

Review: Recently, on April 1st I mailed a payment to S and S Auto Sales Payment center for $200.00. My account with the in house financing was at this time known to be 2 months behind. The Payment would have brought me back to being 1 an 1/2 months behind as my new payment would have been due on Aprl 9, 2014. On Saturday 4/12/14 I recieved my check back in the mail with a sticky note on it asking for me to call [redacted] or[redacted]? I had already before this time left a message for [redacted] checking on the status of my check because normally my check would have processed in about 3 to 4 days? I knew it was the weekend but I wanted to give her a heads up that a payment was sent and I was not sure what was going on? The last time I had spoke to [redacted] my customer service representative I exclaimed to her that I was going through a difficult time and would be sending in what I could and was never given any indication that I needed to be sending in a certain amount of money. This is my second vehicle that I have purchased through S and S and had prior to this never recieved any sort of trouble. I am totally upset by the fact that my check was sent back and when I spoke to [redacted] on Monday 4/14/14 she indicated to me that my account was not secure and I needed to send in 500.00 to them by 4/15/14. [redacted] told me that [redacted] had reported to her that I stated "I would send what I wanted" and because of this I believe their tactics were to try an d set me up to have me three months behind so that they could proceed with repo action. I have in my years purhcased a total of 3 vehicles and have never heard of a company sending your money back to you. If the payment was accepted at that pooint I would have only been behind 1 1/2 months and by the time I spoke to [redacted] my new payment for April was already due. I wish they could have handled things much more properly like accepting my check and then calling to make arragngements with me for the balance. Totally unprofessional.Desired Settlement: I would like for someone to contact me a manager or corporate representative to explain to them that money is being returned for personal antics. I would like settle this manner and ask that they also speak to their customer service representatives in order to help them understand the meaning of Customer Service and Professionalism.

Review: My complaint is I bought a 2000 Silverado Truck at S&S Auto sales 830 North Wilson Way Stockton, CA 95205

209462-7327 in March 2014.

I put 3500.00 as a down payment at a cost of 10,000.

I make a monthly payment and insurance, and now I have a payment for a new transmission. On 11/25 Truck stopped and couldn't be moved. I went after I was off work, and [redacted] Owner of Mike's Automotive told me how much and what he found. He had taken pictures of the damage to the transmission due to rags left inside and the wrong fluid put in the transmission. He wrote this up and told me to take pictures and repair report to S&S. I did and was told they are a corporation and will have to get back to him. It has been a month and no response regarding my Truck and their neglect.

I bought this Truck 8 months ago from them. My complaint is they do in house repairs and work on vehicles they purchase at auction prior to being put on lot. Their neglect destroyed my transmission by leaving rags inside and also using the wrong fluid which was taken pictures of.

And noted by Automotive Repair place. I wasn't treated fairly nor compassionately as it was found this S&S Auto sales to be a neglectful place with many wrong discrepancies of their professionalism of good honest work. This is a real shame, and others could possible have the same wrongs done to them.Desired Settlement: I ask an investigation be opened in their wrong doing of me for costs of 3,171.00 for a new Transmission.

Review: purchased car on 3/10/16 for the amount of $2500. company requested insurance with 3 days. at the time of the purchase I was 9 months pregnant and about to give birth any day. I was in pain and wasn't able to do anything or go any where, so I wanst able to obtain insurance within the days that I was supposed to. I gave birth 3/17/16 and was in the hospital for 3 days and didn't leave until the 21th. they came on the 1st to repo car. I have been in contact with a [redacted] and im trying to resolve this problem and get my vehicle back but she is ignoring my calls and refuse to help me. ive called many times to try to talk to someone higher than her but I cant get to no one. Im very frustrated and just want to either get my money back or the vehicle back.Desired Settlement: do not want to do business with S & s auto anymore due to bad customer service and rude and not helpful reps.I would like a refund for my money back.

I have attached a copy of [redacted]'s vehicle contract that states her deferred down payment of $250.00 was to be made on 3/24/15.

Due to the breach of contract, the car was repossessed.

In the case that [redacted] is able to get financing through a bank, she will be able to get her car back but S & S Auto Sales will no longer hold the loan at our location.

Review: I bought a car from S and S auto sales on November 24,2013. I was told the tags were expired and will need to pay an additional fee to bring the tags current. I was ok with that The sales rep told me they handle ALL DMV services. 2 months later I receive my registration with no tags. You can clearly see where the tags were stapled at and ripped off. MY car was pulled over for " expired tags" and impounded.I called the dealership to let them know what was going on. I was told by LILY that they do not do anything with DMV and I was responsible for getting the tags. When I asked her why did I need to pay extra at the time that I bought the car she said that is an estimate for DMV and I will be refunded. That made no sense. Later that week I received a notice from DMV that my tags need to be renewed in April, this proves my car should have tags. My car is impounded now I asking the dealership to get it out since they are the ones financing me, they are the lien holders. To my surprise the dealership states they are not my finance company and this other company is. This "new" finance company now is unable to get my car released because they were never stated as the lien holder , the dealership was. this caused my car to accrue extra storage fees because the dealership wouldn't transfer the title to the finance people. When I called the dealership all they said was " I don't what to tell you". I never want to do business with this company and advised no one to go to this " place of business"Desired Settlement: I demand a refund off all charge accrued due to impound of car.

Review: I had bought a 2004 MonteCarlo from SNS Auto Sales on 12/5/2015. I call [redacted] back 2 days laters, with minor stuff wrong with the car (dashboard lights didn't come one, heater stopped coming on, and front charger plug didn't work.) They told me to bring the car in that following Thursday so they can look at it at there shop and make sure I have a ride home because they don't give out replacement cars at all. I said "Ok". But I didn't find a ride, plus I still had to go to work and school that day. I called him back and told him I will not be able I will not be able to make it and can I reschedule? He told be he'll call me back with an open appointment. In the mean time on Christmas Day, me and my family decided for everybody to meet at Christmas in the Park in [redacted]. As we were in [redacted], Ca switching freeways, just getting of onto Isabel Ave. I stopped at the red light and put the car in park so I can get something out the trunk. I hopped back in the car put the car back in drive and the car wouldn't drive and started smoking. I had to pay $275 to tow the car back to [redacted], Ca that night. I called [redacted] at SNS and he told me it was my fault, I should stop driving the car when I seen smoke, I was driving the car to much maybe and I shouldn't have missed my appointment. That following Monday he got the car towed to his shop. I called him back a few days later and asked him what was wrong with it [redacted] told me. The head gasket was blow and the car needs a new motor he doesn't know when it will be ready maybe some time next week. I feel like I was cheated out of buying a car, and they sold me a car they new was messed up and something should be done about this please.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back for the car and the Tow I had to pay for and for the insurance I had to pay for while I'm not driving the car.

Vehicle was brought into shop. There is no oil in coolant in radiator. Dexcool is red in color. This is not oil. The heads were checked out; they are not cracked. Vehicle was test driven by mechanic, no overheating occured. Vehicle was also test driven by sales personnel w/customer after it returned from shop. No overheating occured.

No monies will be returned to customer. He is responsible for the loan on this vehicle.

Review: Our vehicle was purchased in December and was towed in April because the car was not registered. By law they have 2 months to register the car and they lied and said they have 6 months. The car is still in the impound and they do not want to retrieve the vehicle even though it was there fault the car was impoundedDesired Settlement: I would like for them to retrieve my vehicle. Review: I purchased a 2007 [redacted] from S & S Auto Sales On May 31, 2014. On June 2 I discovered that the car had a leak and the gas pedal was sticking. I was told to bring it in and they would take care of it. The care was in their repair shop for one week. Upon picking up the car and driving it home I noticed that it was still leaking oil and the gas pedal was still sticking. I also discovered that the Air conditioner was not blowing cool air and that the rear defrosts system was not connected. Again I was told that they would take care of it. The car was again kept for a week with the promise that it would be fixed. They have kept the care a total of 5 times with nothing being resolved. I took the car to [redacted] dealership to see if they could repair it. It was discover that the oil leak was from the transmission because they had wrongly repaired it using the wrong parts. This caused the motor mount to go out. I was charged 370.00 dollars to fix the motor mount. I called [redacted], The manager of S&S and he said to bring it to them and he would take care of it and all reimburse me the 370.00. They have kept the care for over three weeks and when I went to pick it up they refused to inform the manager I was there and refuse to provide any paperwork. The employees and the manager have been very rude. The will not return my calls and avoid speaking to me.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement of all moneys spent and lost including wages, replacement of Car, pay the car of.

Review: $9000 cash in october , paid in full!! So why now do I have less car and payments? Not to mention my higher coverage & a $250 deductible is unacceptable...they will only accept a $500 deductible...Desired Settlement: Just give me back my cash ($9000+ $125 a mo.since April) and they can have their vehicle & the payment plan!! No negative report on my credit report or my consumer report.please contact me for more details on this deal gone bad

S & S Auto Sales provides a 30 day/1,000 mile warranty to all of our customers which I have attached the copy of our limited warranty which was signed by [redacted] on 10/27/15. S & S Auto will take care of any problems a vehicle has within the first thirty days. The Chevy Equinox was purchased on 10/27/15 with 104,070 miles on it and was taken as a trade in on 02/23/16 with 107,250 miles on the vehicle. The vehicle was outside of warranty guidelines and as her contact states there is no cooling off period and the vehicle cannot be returned. As a courtesy, we offered [redacted] a $7,000 credit for her Equinox which she used to purchase a new vehicle which we agreed to carry the loan in house for the amount of $1867.51 which was due in 18 months.The credit was not a factor in this deal as we carried the loan in house as a buy here pay here and are not submitting it for outside financing.At this time, no refund is due.

I am rejecting this response because: I was offered a 90/3000 & attempted to have the issue addressed prior to the expiration of warranty without success. Also had I known I would only get a 7000 credit I would have took the equinox home and still contacted the Revdex.com due to the transmission issues. It was not until after the manager was aware of the price of the vehicle that I was told the amount. 7000 which is 2000 less than what I paid in cash 4 months prior...who in their right mind would be willing to pay a 500 a month payment on a used car? They were aware I was disabled & unable to make payments and upon returning to the lot and being told id only get a $7,000 credit I initially look for the Equinox with the intentions of getting into it and driving home however they had already begin to process the vehicle to be put back out on the lot remove stickers from the windows that I had applied as well as had taken the paperwork from the vehicle this help me feeling pressured and without a choice.

I am rejecting this response because: I called and brought the car in and was going to leave it with the keys , I was told it was okay but I was better off getting what was wrong with it fixed , I tried a few mechanics they can't seem to find what the problem was , I believe there was issues with the car before hand , in your reviews , this happens to be the biggest issue known for Stockton cars bought at s & s I feel I shouldn't have this whole situation put on myself .

Review: I recently leased a car off of his lot and within a week the alternator drained my battery and went out on me, the car has electrical problems the doors won't lock and everything we called the numerous times and they refuse to come get the car or fix it. They even said they knew the alternator is causing all the problems before we bought the car but didn't admit to knowing and sold us the car .Desired Settlement: I would like them to fix all problems with the vehicle.

This vehicle, bought on March 5, 2015 is under warranty for 30 days from date of purchase. Customer needs to return the vehicle & we will be more than willing to repair the problem. We do not have a towing service. This is the customer's responsibility. When customer called the car lot, they were told this. By the way, this is not a lease, it is a purchase. We do not lease vehicles.

I am rejecting this response because: I do not have any way to tow the truck to Stockton. The company sold me a truck knowing there were issues. I feel I am being taken advantage of because I am on a limited income. I wish to have the company pick up the truck because I have given them all of my money and cannot afford to pay hundreds of dollars for a tow. If they refuse to pick up the truck and fix it at no cost to me, I wish to have my down payment returned.
