S & S Auto Sales Inc has received the complaint from [redacted] and would like the opportunity to respond. This customer purchased a vehicle on 04/08/17 with the promise to pay another $250 on 4/23/2017 & another $250 on 5/08/17.  The payment as agreed on the legal binding contract...

was never made .The car went out for repossession on 05/01/2017 and was then taken by the repossession company on 5/3/17. There is no refund due to this customer.

S & S Auto Sales has received the above referenced customer complaint and appreciates the opportunity to respond. The vehicle was purchased on 12/5/15 with a 30day /1,000 mile limited warranty.
 S & S is no longer liable for any damages/work to be done to this vehicle. All work is the customers responsibility.
I have attached a copy of the buyers guide that was signed 12/5/15 that states customer understands we only take care of repairs during the warranty period.

to catch up. [redacted] who is the Manager said they never received it and had my car towed. I had to pay $2,000 to get it out and then after that [redacted] called and said she found my payment. She would not admit it was there fault since they have so many turn over with employees my payment sat on a desk for a month. 2) My Honda's transmission went out so I was trying to get it fixed and fell behind in payments again. I called [redacted] on Feb. 3rd to pay what I owed plus more and she said the only way I can keep my car is if I pay off the whole remaining balance. She said if I cannot pay the full $4,000 plus then she is sending me to collections. I have the money to pay more than what is owed and then within the next two months pay the rest but [redacted] said the only option is to pay the full balance. [redacted], [redacted], [redacted] and everyone else I've talked to there has been nothing but rude and disrespectful. [redacted] rather send me to collections than except my payment on a car that is not even running. I'll have this car paid of in 1 to 2 months but she will not except my payment. I've called every number S&S Auto Sales has online trying to reach someone else but everything redirects me to [redacted]. The warranty ran out two weeks before the first breakdown .

I am rejecting this response because: I called and brought the car in and was going to leave it with the keys , I was told it was okay but I was better off getting what was wrong with it fixed , I tried a few mechanics they can't seem to find what the problem was , I believe there was issues with the car before hand , in your reviews , this happens to be the biggest issue known for Stockton cars bought at s & s I feel I shouldn't have this whole situation put on myself .

I am rejecting this response because: I do not have any way to tow the truck to Stockton. The company sold me a truck knowing there were issues. I feel I am being taken advantage of because I am on a limited income. I wish to have the company pick up the truck because I have given them all of my money and cannot afford to pay hundreds of dollars for a tow. If they refuse to pick up the truck and fix it at no cost to me, I wish to have my down payment returned.

response because I’ve taken the car back already to have the repairs done and they didn’t even look at the problem. I drive 64 miles one way and I should have to be put in this position or either getting my car fixed or losing my job due to no transportation I’ve had an issue with the car from day one I have text and phone records shows all convos. I’ve submitted them the DMV investigation team. Also when get the car I was not required to show insurance or proof of address [redacted] the manager said he would need a to install a gps tracker witch he did on 2/15/2018.  this car lot allow members of there team to walk around with grape swishers and smoking weed this place is very unprofessional and need to be investigated

I am rejecting this response because: I was offered a 90/3000 & attempted to have the issue addressed prior to the expiration of warranty without success. Also had I known I would only get a 7000 credit I would have took the equinox home and still contacted the Revdex.com due to the transmission issues. It was not until after the manager was aware of the price of the vehicle that I was told the amount. 7000 which is 2000 less than what I paid in cash 4 months prior...who in their right mind would be willing to pay a 500 a month payment on a used car? They were aware I was disabled & unable to make payments and upon returning to the lot and being told id only get a $7,000 credit  I initially  look for the Equinox with the intentions of getting into it and driving home  however  they had already  begin to process the vehicle to be put back out on the lot  remove stickers from the windows  that I had applied as well as  had taken the paperwork  from the vehicle  this help me feeling pressured  and without a choice.

a $300 partial payment on 11/20/17 but this payment did not secure her loan and when her first payment was not paid either on 12/08/17 the vehicle was put out for repossession. We tried calling and also sent mail to the customer as early as 11/1/17 to go over the loan and we never got a response or any returned mail. The repossession took place on  12/19/17 in which the Manteca Police had to be called because a male subject came out of the customers house with a screw driver and stabbed the tow truck drivers tire. Customer is responsible for all fees associated with this repossession.  In order to pick up the vehicle the amount would be  $1223.83 + $15 a day storage fees. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Review: The first month that I had my car it was in and out there shop. When I got the car on Feb. 13.13, the check engine light was on at that time. My sister [redacted] was with me at date of purchase. That first month, I tried to get my money back or trade in for a different car. They told me no on both. [redacted] was my sales man. The whole time me having this car it been in and out the shop. I was drive by my job when my power steering went out or steering wheel lock on me. I talked to [redacted] who is the manager at S&S. He told me that it is not against the law to sale a car with the check engine light on.Desired Settlement: To get my money back that I put down on my car.

The check engine light problem was located and repaired. Vehicle was returned by customer for overheating. Repair was made. Power steering problem occurred after 30 day/1000 mile limited warranty period. Vehicle was purchased as a used vehicle. There is no life warranty.

Review: Purchased a vehicle (2-17-16) from this business (2006 Toyota Tacoma ) which both parties agreed had a few flaws which they verbally agreed to repair , the contract also included a 30 day warranty. After approximately two weeks I took the vehicle back for agreed upon repairs , they had the vehicle for a week , no repairs were made they stated that they were waiting for ordered parts and that they would arrive in two or three days and they would call when the parts arrived . A week had passed and I had not heard from them . I began calling on a daily basis and sometimes two or three times a day with no return calls or any other information as to when I could expect to get repairs done . I have mentioned that the most urgent issue with vehicle is that the passenger air bag is not functional which Is a serious safety issue The other flaws that require repair are as following Drivers side window track needs replacement Door hinge on drivers side is broken Tires needed balancing ( which I had done at my cost 50 Dlrs ,four tires )Desired Settlement: I demand that they repair the flaws mentioned above as promised and agreed upon as well as reimbursement for the four tire balancing which I had done

Review: I bought the car September 2012 I have put $2000 down when I saw the car it was in the car that I wanted I came there for a Pacific car that car was one of the cars dad was in a price rangeI've never purchased a car a day of my life and thought that if I go to a dealership

I will get a better deal I know of s and s auto sales through a family member they have bought several cars to themwhen I purchased the car I noticed that I had an engine light on a broken mirror and several other problems I asked them about the engine light they told me they will send it down the street to the auto shop and get it fixed when they sent it down the street to get it fixed

I'm thinking they going to fix the problem as it being down the street being fixed I was on the street what the sales company purchasingaround that time at the car was ready I already gave them my money and signed the contract thinking the problem will be fixed which they have promised me when I got the car I'll see you at the engine light was off when I drove it from there to the Bay AREA the engine light came back on so I called them they told me to bring it back the next day

I came back the next day and they told me it was a sensor it wasn't a major deal it can be fixed so me thinking that everything was okay it was a little minor situation it will get fixed I did not trip 1 month after having the vehicle I was in Tracy visiting family members with my daughter which was 3 at the time we tried to get into the vehicle to drive off and come back home in the car gear shift would not go in the other gear was stuck in park

I try and I try to get it to go into another gear reverse or drive it is not change so I've been told me to go on YouTube and search when a Chrysler Sebring is stuck in park how to unstick it a video came up telling me it was a recall and showing me how to unstuck it with a butter knife thought drove the car back to the Bay Area the next morning early morning

I'll call Chrysler dealership they told me not to drive the car bring it directly to them when I got there they pulled it up and saw that it was a recall for the shifter also to find out there was a recall but to other things on the car such as fan in the air pressure sensor they kept my car for about 2 or 3 days and fixed each recall after we call this text something told me to go and get a diagnostic check because the engine light was still on

I went to go to check from several people such as amco they all told me it was the Cadillac converter something totally different that the dealer that I bought the car from told meI called the dealership that I purchased a car through and let them know that what they told me was wrong with the car was not the case they told me there was nothing they can do about it saucer tonight starts now looked around to see what place did Cadillac converter in for a reasonable price every place I contact won't over a thousand dollars and I had to purchase it to them because coming to find out the Cadillac converter was illegal to be sold in the United States so about 2 months

I was unable to drive my car once I got my tax money in 2013 I went and bought and paid for the Cadillac converter at Chrysler dealership in San Leandro California they fixed a couple of weeks the engine light come back on again and come to find out I take it back to Chrysler dealership they tell me is the same sensor the dealership I bought the car from supposedly fixed needed to be replaced again now that was replaced and I fixed that they also told me the car was not worth my money because of the mileage the dealership sell it to me for a wish that was one hundred and forty four thousand miles was not worth me waste of my money no more they also told me who ever have a car before me was not keeping up the maintenance of the car and the engine oil was backed up also

I'm not building any credit on the car have paid about 10,000 over 10,000 for the vehicle have gave out about $5000 and I'm still unable to drive my vehicle nowDesired Settlement: I just received a letter in the mail saying that I'm being sent to collections for the car that I cannot drive because now the engine light is back on again I need this matter to be dissolved I did not know anything about Revdex.com when I first purchased the car and started having issues until someone told me about this business and I'll need you guys help thank you

Review: I got my car 03/19/2015 and my first break down was on the side of the freeway which was on 06/16/2015 I called the car lot and I been calling every since they still haven't returned my phone calls. And my car has been going bad every since the first issue. Then the contract say you have to do your regular maintenance so I try and get a oil change and can't because my oil plug is sealed. It's just to much for me right now I'm like was behind on my car payment due to me having to get my car fixed. Not to mention I had to have it towed twice. My air bag is lifting my shifting is tripping . To many issues so soon. My key gets stuck in the ignition. My alarm works when it wants to.They put different size tires on my car that's why my front tires shake.All the glue on the car is coming up. Like my spoiler on trunk and my rear view mirror s.Desired Settlement: I would like them to take their car back and fix all that's wrong with it. And not to just cover things up just fix my car.

Review: My name is [redacted], On 1-9-15, I was arrested and my car was impounded, No charges were filed, and I was released 1-13-15, I contacted S&S motors that the car in the impound they got my car 1-15-15 and I took them $250.00 between 1-15-16 and 2-6-15, I took them $1200, on 2-13-15, I went and put full coverage on Insurance on my car, on 2-20-15, I took the balance of 4450.00, and proof of insurance, and was given a receipt stating my next car payment was due 3-12-15 In the amount of $235.00, Which is less than its suppose to be, I went to tell my ride they could leave and came back in the lady asked for the receipt back, and gave me my $450.00 back, and told me someone would call me, an hour later someone named Sandra or Sandi call me and my car was gone, my car was not up for repo, I didn't do anything wrong, I sign and extension, so how did I loose my car and money, I did everything they asked, I had to have full coverage and $450.00 to get my car.Desired Settlement: What I want done, I want my car or my money back or another car, my car hadnot been there thirty days, I was never given a time permit or warranty, I wasn't allowed to get my property out of the car, I had a $1500.00 stereo system in the car, c.d.'s baby seat, my house keys.
