I am rejecting this response because:
They need to update their website, and catalogues with a label stating that the buyer will not be able to install the item themselves as it will need programing by the manufacture and/or dealership and that this programing will cost them money. If this is not done, others will go through the same problem.

I am exhausting every option we have.
I have traces and driver follow ups in place. We are having a hard time as this is usually handled as theft and the authorities contacted.
 
The Customer is claiming it is our responsibility that the items we stolen. We are insured against damage or loss from the courier but I rarely deal with theft after delivery.
 
I have not given up hope yet and will update as soon as possible.

This is a great company to buy auto parts from. They carry quality parts and have great customer service. I ordered a part once that did not fit my vehicle, and they called me up to let me know.
I have purchased many parts from them and will continue to do so.

blem: Company does not seem to take customer service action unless I go through you, which is disappointing and probably a waist of your time. After my previous complaint of inaction by company, I received my missing [redacted] part, unfortunately not a parts list...

for the lift kit that I want to install on my vehicle. Went to go install it today and found through inspection that I'm continuing to miss parts! These are: front and rear bump stops and ALL the hardware for the rear track bar bracket. This problem has been going on since July 27, 2015... It seems like this company is careless in putting together orders and in servicing customers.TranslateselectDesired Outcome: Prompt delivery off missing components and improved customer service.

The bumper order was a "closeout item",meaning this was a discontinued item and we were pricing it very low.
Unfortunately they had sold out very quickly. The other bumper requested is still...

an in production item and unfortunately we are not able to honor the price of the previously mentioned bumper. Nor do we have any bumpers, close out or otherwise available at that price point.
We do however realize how frustrating it must be to miss out on an item that becomes sold out or unavailable.
If the Customer would like to place an order for another model I would happily issue a 50.00 store credit towards it.
Again we apologize this model and color bumper sold out so quickly.

I am rejecting this response because:The response does not answer the question on why the option to have signature for delivery was not provided at checkout and why a company would not protect a consumers best interest to have insurance on theft/unknown..    As for the theft of the items.  This indeed did occur and a case number with Marion County Sheriff's Department was filed.  Case number is [redacted].  The young men were actually caught a few weeks ago and a detective did call me to let me know that they did recover the boxes from their dwelling but the contents were not intact.  I will not see retribution due to the fact the are both more than likely going to prison with the extent of the charges.  I am not disputing whether or not the merchant can prevent crime from happening, but I am simply stating that when a consumer purchases products over the normally $40 insurance coverage there should be insurance provided to that consumer...   And there should be a signature required when there is such dollar amounts being shipped.  I did not see where that option was offered during checkout..   Bottom line is that this reflects poorly on your customer service department to tell a consumer "Sorry, but there is nothing we can do"...  there are things you can do to protect your customers hard earned money better.  Like insure for the unknown and set up so that a signature is an option during checkout.

Greg K[redacted]r from Quadratec's Customer Service couldn't have been more responsive and professional in dealing with an issue that I had with a recent purchase. He was pleasant, professional, and extremely responsive to my needs, and he represents Quadratec very well. I have purchased a number of custom parts and accessories for two different Jeep Wranglers from Quadratec, and it's refreshing to work with a company which stands behind the products that they sell. They absolutely have my loyalty!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that the offer of $75 to cover my additional expenses due to the defective hinge is acceptable.   In good faith the company can either provide me a store credit, a credit to my bank card or send me a check.
