Zurich short term disability owes me disability benefits from 03/06/2020 through 03/17/2020. They have neglected to process office notes from 03/10/2020 in a timely manner.

Other (requires explanation) I would like to be paid for benefits owed to me plus extra for making me resort to fighting for what's owed to me.

Claim was finally approved. I have not received payment. I asked about when checks would be mail. I was told 1 would be released 3/20/20. As yesterday 3/23/20 they were unable to tell me when the other checks would be mailed.
I don't understand why it takes so long for checks to be released. My claim was approved on 3/17/20. It only makes sense that the remaining money be released on 3/17/20.

Its really sad that I have been back to work for 2 weeks now and I am still owed money. It's easy to say they "followed protocols with their best practices". Their best practices need improvement. Their process and protocols that result in the amount of time it has taken to pay me what they owe me is unacceptable.
