I purchased a 3 day trial for a couple bucks. It stated that if I didn't cancel at the end of the trial it would Auto renew. I cancelled that same day. Upon doing so I no longer had access to their services. Yet after the third day my card was charged the full membership price. I contacted customer service via chat. After getting the run around and having to become rude I was told that a refund was issued minus an unpublished bank fee that they take no responsibility for. When I questioned what this fee is they ended the chat. So I started another chat and asked what bank they are referring to. They gave me scripted answer that answered nothing. They then proceeded to end the chat. This company is a complete scam and needs to be held accountable.
Litigation and/or a criminal complaint has yet to be initiated or filed. Zuora is enabling and abetting a scam committed by ***.com, which is "powered by Zuora Inc." These scammers run dating websites and transact legitimate trial memberships to secure credit card numbers, and then they falsify additional transactions never made. Without selecting, choosing, opting, clicking, selecting or in any way making an additional transaction or purchase, these scam websites "powered by Zuora" then make additional transactions and falsely claim the additional transactions were initiated by the cardholder. The ***.com website "powered by Zuora Inc." is a shell webpage with false advertising falsely claiming to offer a "100% money back guarantee." However, when a refund is sought, *** scammers claim they won't issue a refund until they are legally threatened (they try to "compensate" with membership extensions to fake dating websites). Zuora and the people and companies doing business with Zuora are complicit in this fraud. This Revdex.com complaint is not being filed for legal purposes, it is to put anyone considering doing business with Zuora on notice.
