Order was place and then, I change my mind and emailed to cancel order within a 24 hr window per company policy. Order was still shipped.
An order for earrings was placed with *** on June 26th. I immediately regretted placing the order and sent several emails the following day (in the 24 hr window per the customer policy) to cancel the order. An email was sent back on Sunday morning. Instead of canceling per my request, I was offered an additional discount. I replied back the following day saying, like I originally stated, that I wanted the item canceled, not an additional discount. Meanwhile, the order shipped. *** is now stating that their jewelry is "hand made and on demand" , something I also question, and I will be changed an 8% restocking fee. The item is unworn, and is not personalized. The company dishonestly stalled the cancelation request so that they could ship the item, and is now falsely claiming that their jewelry is made to order and "will have to be disassembled once received", which is not accurate and dishonest too since the item shipped very quickly indicating that it is not specially made. I'm asking for a full refund, not to be charged the return shipping and the "disassembly fee" , and for the company to no longer make false claims about their jewelry to justify a "disassembly fee"

Customer emailed us within 24 hours requesting a cancellation, we immediately replied offering a discount if she would like to keep her order in, customer never replied and item shipped, then customer reached out to return which we happily accommodated for a full refund.
Thank you.
I ordered a custom necklace from Zoe Lev. I did not receive a confirmation email and did not receive the product. When I looked up the tracking number (which I did get confirmation it shipped) it said the product was returned because of an incorrect address. I went to the post office immediately and they researched it and said it came to my post office however an email address was displayed on the order not mailing address. That was on March 6, 2020. I contacted Zoe Lev repeatedly and they have corresponded saying that they will not return my money or make another necklace because they did not receive it back. They said they send email's to ensure that the consumer checks the address however I never received an email. When I told them this and asked them to check on their end they never responded. I spent $328.50 and am unable to get a refund or the product. I have never in my life had this problem before.Doesn't someone check the address? On the website they state the following:
We will not be responsible for inaccurate shipping information entered at checkout, inaccurate method, any delay caused in transit, and any delivery issues once the item has been marked as 'Delivered'.
THIS ITEM WAS NEVER DELIVERED. We are in the midst of a pandemic. My husband has not worked for a month and probably will not for another 2 months. I can do a lot with my refund or I would like my product. This is unfair and very unprofessional.
Product_Or_Service: initial necklace

Refund I am requesting a refund or shipment of a new necklace this week.
Hi thank you for checking in, as we notifies you via email, when you placed your order you entered an email address in the shipping address field, and as shipping labels are automatically generated it shipped out via tracking provided and now according to tracking on its way back to us, once we receive it we will reach out and reship to a corrected address, this may take a while as USPS is a little slower on RTS packages, please see your invoice attached when order was placed for shipping address confirmation.
Thank you.
Extremely unhappy with the quality of my item, and their refund policy is not clearly displayed during the purchase process. They refuse to refund me.
On March 14th 2020, I ordered a 14kt yellow gold beaded bracelet for $248. I received my item on March 23rd at 8pm. Upon opening my package, I was incredibly disappointed with the quality of the bracelet; they use a plastic/elastic string to hold together real gold. I e-mailed them immediately at 9pm to process a refund, as I questioned to longevity of my expensive item. I received an e-mail back from *** at 7:30am on March 24th stating that "due to the nature of this order, made to order, it's final sales per our policy online". I replied back at 9:30am to dispute their arguments, but did not hear a reply. I e-mailed the business on March 26th to follow up on my refund, and to which they replied that I will still not be refunded.
I'm not sure if it applies to online retailers, but I paid tax in CA. California Civil Code section 1723 states that businesses "shall conspicuously display that policy either on signs posted at each cash register and sales counter, at each public entrance, on tags attached to each item sold under that policy, or on the retail seller's order forms, if any." *** refund policy is NOT clearly displayed during the purchase process. No where on the beaded bracelet website does it say "made to order," and no where on their website does it say that "all sales are final". No where on their website does it say that this is a "personalized item" either.
I would like a full refund for the cost of goods, the quality of the bracelet I received is poor quality.
Hi thank you for checking in and your feedback, as previously mentioned via email you can see in our return policy which is very clear that bead bracelets are final sale as we offer them in many styles in many color options in many lengths options and do not carry them all in stock in all the variations, additionally it does state on the product page that her are stretch fit.
Hope that clarifies, thank you.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The refund policy is not clearly displayed during the purchase process. It is not very clear when you are purchasing the bracelet that it is final sale or custom order. Just because there are options of different sizes, means that they should expect their customers to know what that their products are customer made unless it is clear on the site. No where does it say made to order or that the item is personalized. Stretch fit could mean anything, but is it plastic elastic, it is poor quality and I am not happy at all with the quality for such a pricey item.
Hi again we are sorry you feel that way ad are unhappy, but we do offer multiple options for customization on the product page and our return policy is clearly started on our site.
Thank you.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The return policy is not clearly displayed during the purchase process. Considering this business has an F rating on the Revdex.com for the same reason (returns), I know I am not the first person to have this issue, yet the company still refuses to act. I don't think it's unreasonable for me to ask for a full return since I am not the only person unhappy with their products. If the business stands by their product, I don't understand why they will not agree to give me a refund and let me return the product. Even after I have reached out to them myself. I would like a full refund and I will return the product. I don't even care about the shipping cost. $248 is a lot of money to not be happy with a product, Since this product is real gold, the cost of gold will stay the same and the company can resell my bracelet! I don't understand what else I need to do or say to get a full refund.
Zoe *** designer. Propriator *** - on Etsy. Signet ring's gold colour vanished after two days. Was not given warning - wasted $70.
So I purchased a signet gold plated ring from Zoe ***/shop owned by *** The first ring I sent back because the initials were squeezed in & illegible. I asked for a refund - the owner would not comply. The second ring, although cheaper, though I didn't receive the difference in price, was better regarding the lettering but the gold colour wore off in two days. I was given no warning about the ring getting wet - I did not get any soap on it. When I wrote to Zoe *** about this - only then did she tell me it should not be put in water etc etc because the colour would fade quickly. She also added that they would be happy to credit me with the money for this ring ($70) in exchange for a real gold one which would cost me approximately an extra $200 plus in price. I mentioned I think I should get a refund because a) I was not warned the colour would come off so quickly b) I have other plated jewelery from other places and the colour is still fine after two years of wear. There is no doubt in my mind that the colour of the ring should stay good for at least 2 years. No refund was mentioned - only that they would put the price of the ring towards my spending another $200 or so on another gold ring. I do not want a replacement at further cost - I want nothing to do with this firm again but I do think I should receive a refund for not only the bother I have had with this firm, but because what I purchased is a total waste of money. The ring has gone from a distinct gold colour to silver in two days. Not even cheaper rings I have in gold plate have changed colour in two years.
I think I should receive a refund. The ring was wrong in two instances - the first one being that the initials were illegible & squeezed in - ie not centred. They sent me another one whereby the initial were now centred but the gold "colour" of the ring vanished & faded in a day - from gold to silver colour in two days. I complained about this as well & it was only when I complained about what happened to the ring that a reply e.mail said it should not be put in water etc etc. I explained this is absurd - not only should the jeweler provide how to look after the ring but as I say, gold plate should not "wash off with water" in two days. This is really a disgrace - and a confession of guilt on the jeweler & the shop owner's part on Etsy to say they will give me credit towards another pricier ring - like $200 plus pricier when the fault is with them. I would never buy another thing from this shop or jeweler. Here are two e.mails - one from myself & the other a reply from the jeweler: *** To: *** Sat, 29 Feb at 19:26 Hi, thank you for checking in, please note that gold vermeil will tarnish quickly if not cared for, no water, lotion, soap, chemical, workout, etc... vs. the 14k gold version which we offer as well and never tarnishes. Hope that clarifies, given the circumstances we will happily credit you for your piece toward the same version in 14k.if you would like. Let us known, thank you. *** Original Message Subject: Re: Query From: *** Date: Fri, February 28, 2020 8:59 pm To: Hey - I selected the gold vermeil - it cost originally $64 plus tax. I had to sent the first one back as a) it was too small & I needed a half size larger. b) the initials were illegible & looked as though one of the letters was squeezed in - so I exchanged it for the monogram ring. I wrote saying I was v happy with the ring now - it fits & the initials are clear. But now I have a problem with the colour of the ring fading extremely rapidly - it will soon be silver in colour. I have other gold vermeil jewellery which has not faded in colour at all & I wear it even in the shower. So naturally I am v disappointed - moreover I think you should warn customers that the colour will fade if it is not taken off every time one washes one's hands - which is often these days due to Coronavirus. I was asked by the owner of the shop *** to give a good review on Etsy but I will now not be doing this. Had you given a warning or at least a note saying how to look after yr ring so that it doesn't tarnish, I would've probably bought 14ct gold. As I say, I have other jewellery that is 14ct plated which has not tarnished at all & I have worn it for over a year & it is still the same colour. I am somewhat horrified that this ring has lost it's colour so quickly - I have only worn it for a two days. In my honest opinion, I feel I have actualy wasted $70 which is what I paid for the ring with postage etc etc. I shall not recommend such a ring to friends either, for the v reasons given here.
The item purchased, was a vermeil signet which is plated and must be cared for to maintain its gold plating as you would with any vermeil/ plated/ fill jewelry. With time and wear this item will fade and begin to show sterling silver. When not properly cared for (ie. exposed to water, chemicals, perfumes, lotions, etc.) the item will begin to turn at a much faster rate. We also offer this style in a 14k gold version which will never tarnish or turn and is the ideal pick for everyday wear and longevity but the customer did not select this style.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I think my original complaint makes clear why the company's response is inadequate. I am quite used to wearing vermiel plated jewelery and caring for it and although the company did not specify the care required for this item at the point of sale, there is nothing that I would have done while wearing the item that would've caused it to fade and lose it's plating within two days. I have pointed out that I have other plated items for some years which are in perfect condition and did not lose their colour. It is extraordinary that the item I bought, after only two days of normal wear, lost all it's colour. It was not even that cheap - I paid $70 - I have cheaper jewelery that has lasted in colour so this is entirely unnacceptable quality for such an item at this price point. They said in the circumstances, they would credit me for the $70 if I paid them another $350 for a 14 ct ring. How nice of them! It does not explain why the original ring was so sub-standard in relation to comparable items. It is obvious that a more expensive ring will be expected to be more resilient - and the company's explanations and provisos do not adequately explain the deterioration in their $70 product within days. Their position is entirely unreasonable & self-serving and the quality they are offering for the $70 ring is disgusting. A comparison with similar products from other companies will bear out my argument. At the very least they should give me a refund and an apology.
We will gladly credit you for the 14k gold version which is perfect for evryday wear. Please note we disclose that this piece is plated when purchasing and care info can be found on our site.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I have already said that it is not acceptable to take the offer of crediting me for the discoloured signet ring. I am not willing to pay another $400 for the 14 ct gold ring which the jeweler keeps repeating. This price is not only outrageous but I do not wish to deal with this company as I believe they are scamming the public.
When I purchased the ring, because I already have experience with vermeil coted rings, I did not think to go to the website to check how to care for the ring. Why should I? I didn't think the colour would wear off in TWO DAYS - almost from the point of wearing it.
I did not expose the ring to anything other than normal wear. As I have mentioned, I have other plated jewelery that I have had for more than two years that is not discoloured from wear or anything else and have seen that this is a normal pattern of wear indicated by other websites.
I note that Zoe *** jewelery states that "sweat" should not get on the ring. How is this avoidable? Sweat is normal in wear and tear and the colour of the ring should definitely not disappear within a few days from natural sweat that one has no control over. Of course Zoe *** says now that her website says: "disclose that the ring is plated" but they do not say originally upon purchase "please read our website for care of your purchase." Had I done this, which I have never had to do before with any purchases of plated jewelery, I would certainly not have purchased this ring. Sweat is a normal occurrence and should not leave the item without the plating within such a short period of time. That is outrageous. I have bought plated jewelery from *** for a much lower price (Etsy is meant to be reasonable in their pricing) that has not lost it's colour due to either wear or natural sweat.
But my main point here is that I wore the ring for ONLY TWO DAYS. Not one week, not one month, not one year - but TWO DAYS. This is why I would like a full refund.
Hi, as previously noted we cannot guarantee gold plated, like any jeweler that sells gold plated, it is up the customer to care for plated jewelry vs. 14k jewelry, which we offer that version as well and do guarantee it for a lifetime.
Hope that clarifies, thank you.
I purchased a product from the Zoe Lev website. The no refund policy was not clearly displayed during the purchase process and I was denied a refund.
On December 14, 2018 I purchased a 14k gold asymmetrical "initial" and bezel diamond necklace from the Zoe Lev website (www.zoelev.com) for $319.50. Upon receiving the necklace I realized it was much smaller than it appeared on the website. On Dec. 28th, I called to arrange for a return/refund and was told "All sales are final" due to the personalized nature of the product (it contained the initial "K"). After review of the website, and finding nothing that clearly states the "no refund" policy any where during purchase or checkout process, I sent an email to Zoe Lev stating my concern and requesting a refund. They denied my request stating that the "no refund" policy is listed on the website under a link at the bottom of the home page. I'm contacting you today in the hope that this can be resolved and a return/refund can be processed immediately. Considering this "no refund" policy is not clearly posted anywhere during the checkout process, no where on the order confirmation, not on the product itself and no where on the receipt....I believe I have a right to return the product for a full refund.
I would like a full refund for the product upon return.
Necklace received following purchase from website did were not even close to the depicted size and quality of representative pictures on website.
I purchased a necklace from the website. The pictures of such necklace did not accurately represent the actual received. I contacted company via email who responded that all sales were final. I explained that the necklace I received looked nothing like the necklaces in the pictures on the website in terms of size and quality of what was depicted. Company totally misrepresented their product.
I would like to return the necklace and receive a full refund.
