Purchased a pool heater, Model LXi400N, installed by an authorized dealerUnfortunately, flames started coming out of the heater and burned part of the unitThe sight hole glass was destroyed and other parts were meltedTwo service companies, including the original installer (authorized dealer) looked and the unit and stated it is a fire hazard and needs to be replacedBoth recommended shutting off the gas completely
The original installer confirmed the unit is under warrantyI called Zodiac directly and have documented communications that the unit is indeed under warrantyHowever, the service company is stating that they are unable to get zodiac to approve the repair
On January 3rd, I contacted Zodiac directly again and an email was returned that said my unit was registered and "we should be able to accommodate any part needed as it is under the warranty." This is after consulting with two different pool service companies in Mid-December, who both stated Zodiac was not

We have contacted Mr*** in regards to the issues he has been having with his MXWe have offered the customer a replacement to a Tand some additional diaphragms for his troubles. Mr*** has accepted the offer and is very pleased with the service that he has been providedWe

PURCHASED AN OLD DUO CLEAR FROM WIND SURF & SAIL FOR
$THIS UNIT DID
NOT WORK CORRECTLY, AND THE HOMEOWNER WAS UPSET, SO *** HAD A NEW FUSION IN
HIS STORAGE WHICH HE ACCOMMODATED TO THE HOMEOWNERTHE HOMEOWNER THEN
COMPLAINED THAT THE GCLEANER WAS GETTING STUCK ON THE STEPS, ZODIAC WILL BE
ACCOMMODATING AN MXUNIT AS A GOOD WILL GESTER, THE FUSION OR MXWILL NOT
CARRY ANY WARRANTY, THE HOMEOWER IS AWARE OF THIS AND UNDERSTANDSI HAVE ALSO
INSTRUCTED THE HOMEOWER TO REMOVE THE CLORINE TABS OUT OF THE SKIMMER ASAP TO
AVOID DAMAGE TO HIS HEATERWE WILL ALSO NOT BE REIMBUSING FOR CHEMICAL USED

installed correctlyWe will be sending the customer his value, and educating him as we did before on April 14,of our policy, and the importance of the policyWe will also inform Mr *** that if he chooses to install the valves himself this will void his lifetime warrantyWe will also inform Mr *** that is in the future if he does call us to replace his valves we will be asking him for the invoice of who installed these valvesThank you

I purchased Jandy DEVpool filter in This summer my filter is not working properly and DE is going back into the pool I was told it could be one of things: The gridsManifest is crackedO ring (which was replaced) Multiport value is broken All are in good working order as checked by servicers This filter has had this issue before and has been classified as DEFECTIVE Please see what I found online:

No where on the website does it say will not work in above ground pool and the retailer told me it would work in my pool

This letter is to notify you of my conversation on October 18, with Leslie's Pool and this is the second polaris purchased with a problem I am having with the motor smoking that I bought and was told it only carries a one year warrantyLeslie's Pool states that in order to have the unit replaced that I would have to pay full price for another unitI feel this is an internal issue with the polaris and as a consumer I feel I am not recieving a quality product that is advertised in you product

Purchased a Zodiac/Polaris Spa Bubbler 1.5hp, 240v unit from *** *** *** in *** via the internet I had my licensed pool tech install item The unit shuts down after 2-minutes of use and is also very hot to the touch I attempted to return unit to Sunplay under their defective merchandise policy but they are refusing item and instruct me to follow up with Zodiac under their warranty policy I have spoke with Zodiac times concerning this issue, they inform me that I am required to have a Zodiac approved company service tech visit my house and diagnose unit prior to any warranty service This service visit will be at my cost I have used the Zodiac website to locate an approved dealer within miles of my house and called all three pool companies listed All three advised me they are a Zodiac authorized dealer but will not do warranty service calls
