I'm saddened to see a complaint lodged against Zipwhip, but happy I have the opportunity to respond and address your concerns.
When we spoke on the phone you were very upset that you were paying $100/month for our service as you had recently found out we have an
"Economy Package" that costs only $20/month with the drawback of very limited functionalityWhen a customer navigates to our pricing page at www.zipwhip.com/pricing we try to be very clear about our package details and allow the consumer to make an informed decisionIn order to continue with that purchase, you must read and agree to our terms of service which are available at https://zipwhip.com/legal#terms-of-service I'm attaching an image of a very relevant part of those TOS concerning Automatic Renewal.
I felt we addressed the issue properly by allowing you to continue with our Business Class Texting at reduced rate of $20/month (matching our economy package, an 80% discount) for the life of your contract.
Your second complaint, the cancellation, was due to the angry voicemail you left us saying you wanted to cancel your accountIt's true, our departments didn't communicate as well as they could have and that cancellation was processed after you had re-negotiated your agreementI don't think that warrants this sort of complaint, and again, we tried our hardest to be fair and address the issue properly
It's true that we don't have support on the weekends.
Lastly, your claim that we lied to you is baselessWe did nothing improper in charging you based on the subscription and terms of service that you agreed to when you provided your billing information.
We're proud of the service we provide and we're happy you've decided to stay on as a customerWe hope you decide to continue using Zipwhip to add value to your business for a very long time
