The customer came to pick up the item on December 13, 2018 and that's when he lifted the bag and noticed the piece of plastic stuck to a piece on the arm of the jacket. Looks like the jacket was not cooled off enough when the Leather company placed the plastic over it and the small area stuck to the plastic. There is a 2 week turn around for all leather as the customer was told, when the manger let him know that he would have leather guy come back, pick it up, and try to remedy the situation. The leather guy did come to pick up the jacket on the 18th since was his week to come and pick up any leather. Then there was talk between my manager, the customer, and the leather guy, letting the customer know the jacket could not be fixed. My manager had been going back and forth trying to figure out a situation to make everyone happy, but was the middle man. Unfortunately, it did take a little longer but not because the manager was not doing anything, he was playing the middle man. The customer also wanted his jacket back right away when he was told they could not fix it, but that was impossible being the jacket was not in the store. My manager tried explaining that to him. As of January 17, 2019 my manager had talked to the customer letting him know the leather guy would have his leather back in the store on January 29, 2019, but would try to get it on an earlier truck if they ended up having a route drop off our way.
