Don't buy from this store
A horrible experience. I have been ripped off. I had to call the business multiple times to get them to mail the package and then they mailed an empty padded envelope with no item inside! My credit card was charged and I am so embarrassed that the gift was not included--- an empty envelope was mailed! It took almost 5 weeks for them to process the order and with all that time, they did not include the gift. What?
I am waiting to get a refund on my credit card. Do not shop here.

I bought inflatable lawn decorations from Zion Judaica for resale in my store Obviously I cannot be expected to inflate all the decorations when they arrived They are put on a shelf in their original boxes for customers to look at (they have a picture of the item on the box.) Customers who bought them returned them as they were defective; either they would not inflate or the lights did not work Other stores told me that they had experienced the same problem and the merchandise was clearly defective Zion Judaica subsequently offered an improved version of these items but were not willing to replace the poor quality version already bought from them They offered to replace the defective merchandise at a 20% discount This is not acceptable as I still stand to lose a considerable amount of money and I might not discover that the replacements are any better when a customer tries to inflate them

I ordered kippot for a bar mitzvah from Zion Judaica imprinted with a name/bar mitzvah dateSeveral kippot arrived with black markings on the suede on the inside of the kippah; percent of the rest of the kippot had silver flecks over the insideThey couldn't explain what had happened because, they claimed, usually someone does quality control before kippot are sent outThey had me re-pack and ship back all When I got the batch back today, they were in good shape...except they only sent Again, no explanation for why, when I called they said they would make sure the rest were sentYes, mistakes happen but they have been completely unapologetic all along, other than offering a discount if I wanted to keep the defective batch! Most companies would have at least offered a partial refund for the inconvenience they have caused and the time I have wasted dealing with THEIR mistakesFinal blow: I got a lecture this morning from some guy there about how I had no right to be speak to him in a "preaching" way about how awful their customer service has been

If I could give Zion Judaica zero stars I would! I have never written a google review before but felt compelled to write one about Zion Judaica. I ordered my kippah's in plenty of time for my children's mitzvah. A day after ordering the kippahs, I received an email from Zion Judaica that stated, "Thank you for ordering at Zion Judaica! In order to guarantee your order for delivery in time, the 2 week rush will need to be added to your order for an addition .30 cents per Kippa. We are being closed for the Holidays and will have minimal days for production. Please advise how you would like to proceed.

Naturally, after receiving this email, I called and said that I had already paid and would not be paying more. If more time was needed for my order due to the Jewish holidays, that information should have posted on the website. Raizy became irate and told me that I was a bad jew because I wanted his employees to work on Sukkot. I agreed that I would pay an extra $30 (as opposed to the $100 he wanted to charge me). Raizy said he would send me an update paypal invoice ASAP. The invoice never came. I called the following day and was told Raizy was out of the office and would call me back. He never called. I still have not received an updated invoice- shocking since Raizy said I must pay the invoice right away because there are so few days of work due to Sukkot and the kippahs had to go to production immediately. I just called to cancel the order and the women who answered the phone was rude! I placed a new kippah order with KIPPAH.com. Kippah.com was less expensive for the same kippah . After I ordered, I called Kippah.com to make sure I would receive my order in time, the man who answered the phone was so nice and assured me that I would receive my kippahs on time at no extra charge! SHAME ON YOU ZION JUDAICA! What a scam!

I ordered in a timely matterPackage arrived on time yet was missing one very important itemI called today (12-**-2015), they said it was a mistake yet they can't overnight anything and they want me to pay (expedited shipping) for their errorEvery question I asked Mindy, she would place me on hold, come back and say, "no, sorry, we can't do it." I asked to speak to a manager, none availableI asked for a manager to call back, she told me, "he is too busy to call back." I asked to speak with someone else there, she said, "I'm here alone." I asked, "why do you keep placing me on hold them as though you are asking someone a question? No answer
The missing product is 1- pack of menorahs needed for a Hanukkah party in days These guys FAILED in delivery, FAILED customer service, FAILED fairness, and they say they have been in business over years yet according to Revdex.com, they opened in in This doesn't add up
My opinion: DO NOT BUY FROM ZION JUDAICA They have ZERO skills in resolving customer concerns which were 100% Zion Judaica's fault Shameful

Excellent experience with Zion Judaica I ordered Steelers kippah's and they are excellent quality and are exactly what I wanted They were delivered within the timeframe promised (about weeks) and in plenty of time for the Bar Mitzvah Great service and quality of merchandise!

Just received the silver Torah pointer #*** and it is exactly what we hoped it would beEven the engraving, that we ordered to be printed on the top section, was perfectIt was a pleasure dealing with Miriam of your staffShe was very knowledgeable and helpful Thank you

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANYThey have the most unprofessional, egotistical, rude, and pretentious customer service staff I have ever encounteredNot only did they tell me everything was MY fault, they also tried to lie to me about how long they have been in business and that they have been receiving online orders since 1998...I was told by a MANAGER that they had been in business for years, which is a lie (see Revdex.com)In addition, they are SO irrelevant and and unsubstantiated that they aren't even verified by the Revdex.comI was yelled at on the phone, once again by a manager, who then proceeded to tell me that she "wasn't yelling, but just speaking very loudly to get her point across." Never in my life have I been yelled at by a customer service representative, none the less by a managerThen after I had to cut the lady off as she was on a long rant about how this was my fault, I received an email alleging that I threatened to dispute the charges, which I NEVER claimedA business this unprofessional doesn't deserve anyone's serviceDon't waste your time or energy ordering from them, because the moment something goes wrong, you will be in a customer service nightmare that is declared the customer's fault

This company is terrible! I placed an order on January *** for a shabbat candle for my sister's birthdayAlmost a week later I noticed my credit card had yet to be charged, which meant to me my order had not even been processed yetI sent an email asking for an update on my order statusAfter a couple of days, no responseI sent another email asking the same question, no responseI finally phoned them on Jan **...ten days after I placed my orderThe person on the phone told me the orders usually take about a week to processI pointed out it had now been ten days and nothing was done yetShe told me she would speak to her manager (this seems to be her "go to phrase")I said I need it sent out immediately as my sister's birthday had now passed(I should also mention that I paid the higher expedited shipping rate when I placed my order to receive it as fast as possibleClearly my money on that has been wasted.) A couple of days later I noticed my credit card was finally chargedNow, another week after my phone call, I still have not received my product
I called again this morning (Jan ***) and asked for an update on my orderI was told it is being shipped from Israel and they should receive it some time next weekWhen they receive it it will be shipped to meI said this was taking way too long and recounted my conversation with her the week before and my experience with Zion Judaica to that pointShe said she would "speak to her manager." I told her I wanted to cancel my order and she told me I could not do that as it was personalized (I ordered engraving on it)She said I could speak to her manager but that he wasn't there at the momentI asked when he would be there and she said "12:30." I called back at exactly 12:and asked to speak with the managerShe told me he wasn't availableI said that she had told me to call at 12:because he would be thereShe said to call back in to minutesI just called again (minutes later) and now there is no answerNo one will answer the phone, and being Shabbat, they close in minutes
DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANYEVEN THOUGH THERE ARE SOME POSITIVE REVIEWS, DON'T TAKE YOUR CHANCES WITH THEM
I will be following up with my credit card company to have the charge reversed and I will be filing a formal complaint against this company

I was very hesitant to order from *** after reading several bad reviews, but they had a great price and what seemed like good quality kippotI could not be happier about ordering from them! The kippot came even quicker than we expected and the imprint was nicely doneThe quality of the material was just as good as that I've seen ordered from other vendors
