Review: Zerbes Moving moved us from [redacted] in July 2014, they broke two things. One of the things broken was a vintage Jelly cupboard (door) with great sentimental value, I informed Mr Zerbe and he told me to leave the door on the porch for collection and repair. I removed the door from the cupboard by unscrewing the hinges from 3 brass inserts (these are extremely unusual and impossible to find), I then placed the door,with inserts intact,on the porch. The door was collected,fixed and returned minus the inserts. The door can not go back on without the inserts. I contacted Mr Zerbe,he said he had no idea where they were and would look for them, weeks later I contacted him again only to be told the same thing. He said he would send the guy who fixed the door round to 'look at it'. The guy said he didn't know where the inserts were and we should get new hinges fitted. I informed Mr Zerbe of this, he said he would get another guy to look at my cupboard, he hasn' [redacted] been 3 months since we paid for a very expensive move and my cupboard door is still leaning against the wall. He is responsible but not taking responsibility.Desired Settlement: He should offer compensation. The least he can do is replace the inserts or provide and attach appropriate hinges.
