Customer service isn't what it used to be. I was a junior in high school when The Beatles and the British Wave arrived in America. Being "old school, it's refreshing when you can actually talk to humans beings who understand the meaning of service and the value of customers. Thank you Zen Business for guiding Information DataWorks through the incorporation process. Special thanks to
Mariano and staff for stepping to the plate and providing solutions to a challenging issue. You Rock!!!

I paid for the premium package which was around $500. I have a bussiness address but my home address was used as my mailing address. Thus making my home address be attached to my EIN number. They refused to remedy the situation and told me to contact the IRS
Thank you for taking the time to talk to me about this matter and to come to an agreement on the resolution. Again, I would like to apologize for our mistake with your mailing address. As you mentioned, you had requested that we change the mailing address you submitted on your order from your home address to your business address. The change was reflected on your State LLC documents, but not properly reflected on your IRS EIN. I have also discussed with the team how we can assist our customers if an address error comes up like this in the future.I also wanted to clarify one point on the pricing. The cost of our Premium Plan was $249 and the State filing fee for New York (which we pay on your behalf) was $200.If you have any future questions or issues, you have my number so please do not hesitate to contact me directly. I hope we have you as a happy ZenBusiness customer for a long time! Best wishes with your new business!***SVP Customer Success

We used ZenBusiness to incorporate our company, and to help us find bookkeeping and insurance coverage. They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful -- and that took a lot of the worry out of setting up a business. It's a fantastic resource for any first-time business owner!

This company claims to help set up LLC and provide EIN. I paid $185 to get business started. Never heard back from them for three weeks until they sent me correspondence in the mail. Filled out all the paperwork they required and sent back but I still did not receive my EIN. On top of initial $185 fee, I paid $20/ month (from initial signup) for them to be a registered agent. Almost three months went by and I still did not receive my EIN, so I tried to contact Zen Business (website chat) to have them cancel my service and obtain a full refund. I was then told it was against "company policy" to issue any refunds and also told me that my monthly recurring charge of $20 would be cancelled. Five months later, I am still being charged $20/ month with no EIN or any proof that Zen Business filed anything on my behalf.
Hi ***,
It has been a pleasure communicating with you over the last 10 days to help me get a full understanding of your concerns and then coming to what I hope is a mutual resolution. I apologize that your experience with us had not been a positive one.
Here's my response to some of the concerns you raised:
You placed your order with us on August 28, 2018 and we sent an email to you on August 30, 2018 letting you know that we had completed your order and you could go to your dashboard to view & download your documents. You said you never received this email and because of this. On May 31, 2019 I forwarded you a copy of this email and your documents, the LLC Articles of Organization (dates Aug 28, 2018) and EIN Confirmation Letter (dated August 30, 2018).
The only chat with you that I was able to find was on January 17, 2019 where you inquired about changing the name of your LLC and asked about a letter you had received from the state of California. There was no mention of canceling your order.
We do not have and have never had a "no refund" policy. We review each refund request on a case-by-case basis and make a decision based on merit.
Through our conversations, it comes across that you are very sure that you had a September chat conversation with us and that you requested to cancel. Based on this and our company directive of “doing what’s right for the customer”, I have canceled your service with us and refunded your recurring monthly payments from September 2018 forward.

Tell us why here...
On 10/03/2018 at 14:15:06 Zen business withdrew $100.00 from my direct express disability master card and also on 10/03/2018 at 16:16:10 they with drew $10.00. I told them that I had nothing sent to me as proof of what this money was for, no LLC or state of . license. and they will not refund my money and it is fraud and theft.
Dear Ms ***,
Thank you for taking the time to write to us expressing your concerns with the order for an LLC that you have with ZenBusiness. I also appreciate you taking the time to talk to me on Oct 26th to further explain your frustration with the process and to allow me to explain the process and timing of forming an LLC for you. Even though we were unable to come to a resolution, I do have a better understanding of your concern.
I would like to take a moment to share the timing on the order:
- Oct 2 -You placed an order to create and LLC in *** and you requested that ZenBusiness act as your Registered Agent.
- Oct 9 – We filed your LLC documents with the State of *** Secretary of State and sent you an email letting you know that it had been filed. We emailed this to the email address you provided us during signup: ***
- Oct 22 – We received the Certificate of Organization back from the State of *** and sent you an email on how to download the document from your secure, personal dashboard on Zenbusiness.com. We also sent this email to ***
- Oct 24 – You contacted our Customer Success team and they forwarded you the Oct 22 email to email address ***
- Oct 25th – I called you to discuss your Revdex.com Complaint. I received your voicemail so I left you a message asking you to return my call. After the call, I sent you an email message reiterating what I left on the voicemail and giving you my direct phone number. I also re-forwarded you the Oct 22 email with the attached Certificate of Organization. Both of these emails were sent to both *** and *** email addresses.
- - Oct 26 – I called and talked to Ms *** about her concerns
The $100 you paid is for the State of *** filling fee for an LLC. I have attached a copy of the receipt. The $10 charge is a monthly recurring fee for ZenBusiness to be your registered agent. I have cancelled that recurring charge and refunded the $10 you have previously paid. We will be resigning as the Registered Agent for ***.
I have attached the following:
- Certificate of Organization for ***
- Receipt showing $100 payment to State of
- Oct 9 email
- Oct 22 email
- Oct 25 emails
Thank you again for taking your time to give us feedback. Please accept my apology that we weren’t able to exceed your expectations with our product & service.
Best Regards,
***

I’m a small business owner who was looking to incorporate my company online but unfortunately I’m having a really bad experience with this company.
Customer submitted and paid for the order on Sept 17, 2018. We filed the necessary paperwork with the State of Maryland on Sept 20, 2018 and paid the State of Maryland the $335 State filing fee for an LLC. We sent an email to the customer on Sept 20, 2018 informing them that the LLC had been submitted to the State. On Sept 21, 2018 we received the Articles of Organization from the State of Maryland. I have attached the Articles of Organization.
On Sept 30, 2018 we received the Revdex.com complaint from the customer. We researched the chat logs (the chat software we use logs all chat communications) and email communications with the customer and could not find any additional communications. We called the customer on Oct 1, 2018 to resolve the complaint. The customer explained that he had talked to one of our agents on chat requesting a full refund and to cancel his order. We are not sure exactly when he made this communication and made this request. Even though we have already paid the State $185 to form the LLC ($100 for the LLC and $85 for the "expedite" fee) on the customer's behalf (which the State will not refund to us), we provided the customer a full refund as he requested.
In order to resolve the issue to the customer's satisfaction, we provided the full refund he was requesting. We felt we moved forward with the order he placed in good faith and spent money to complete the work he requested. However, to "do the right thing" for the customer, we provided a refund.
This company claims to file the paperwork to establish and LLC in the state
of Texas. However, in my case, they did nothing. I heard from them on two
occasions when they requested more information. I provided the info (they have my bank card information as well as my social security number. They claimed they needed the social security number to to file with the IRS for an employer tax ID number for my LLC) but
never heard back from them when I inquired about the filing. I sent several
emails, attempted to contact via phone but the VM is always full, attempted
contact through live chat, but there are no real people there. I paid $349 on
4/9/2018. I asked them for a refund of my money after my attempts to collect
information about the status of my filing were not addressed by the
company. Unsurprisngly, they have not responded to my most recent email
requesting a refund. I have not heard from anyone in this company for 30 days. Most recently, I noticed that the person who was supposedly in chat claimed to be in Austin, TX, but the chat box has the time for Lima, Peru. I wish I had seen that sooner!
Ms *** Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. I apologize for negative experience and that we did not complete the service you had purchased from us. At ZenBusiness, our goal is to exceed our customer’s expectations and provide a positive experience every time. Since that is not what you experienced in this interaction, we refunded your charge of $350 on June 19, 2018. Again, I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Sincerely, ***SVP Customer Success
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
