Zen Wellness

I have contacted and followed up Zen Wellness multiple times to resolve a billing issue but the issue remains unresolved and the owner has not been responsive.

On the afternoon of 02/24/2017, I went in for a same day visit for chiropractic services as I was in severe back pain and could hardly walk. When I arrived, I was told that the computers were down due to virus. I told the receptionist that I was not sure if my insurance covered the services and she said that she would look into it when the computer was running but would charge the yelp deal in the meantime of $95.

When I came in for a follow up visit on 02/28/2017, I was able to confirm that Zen Wellness was in my network. However, instead of paying my co-pay of $30 for chiropractic services, I was charged $82.08. I was told then that my card would be credited back. According to my EOB, for this visit Zen Wellness received $350 from my insurance.

After much time had passed, I realized that my card was never credited. I spoke with the receptionist on 09/21/17 and was told that I had a credit of $39 which would be sent to me by check. She also said that she will be submitting my initial service to my insurance from 02/24/2017 and I should be receiving an email from the owner. I called again on 10/04/2017 to follow up as I never heard back and was told by another receptionist that the credit is still there and has not been sent to me and the claim was not submitted to my insurance. I was then asked to email the owner directly. I sent an email describing my situation on 10/04/2017 and have not received a response.

I should be receiving $65 for my first visit and $52.08 for the second visit.
