Review: I bought a Zeikos ZE-SBGA77 power battery grip on 05/**/13 from [redacted] ([redacted]). Less than a week later, an important switch fell off of the unit not only taking away my ability to control the functions it was designed to control, but now there is a big hole in the unit allowing dirt and dust in.

I sent multiple emails and called more than half a dozen times only to be told that they ran out of the item, and they claim that it is a product they no longer make. I was also told by [redacted] (last name unknown) that they cannot and would not honor the one-year warranty. So, I can neither get a new grip nor a replacement part.

They offered to replace the battery with a tripod, an item not remotely relevant to the product that broke.Desired Settlement: The company should find a way to provide me with the funds to replace the battery, or they should order one from a retailer who still has them in stock (e.g. [redacted]) then send it to me.

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Zeikos regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Zeikos contacted me and confirmed that they would not honor the defective product's (camera battery grip) warranty, an item that I had for less than 30 days before it broke.
