Zeal Homeworks

Entered into contract with *** on 10/27/19 for ripoff/repair bathroom roof, repair/replace rafter, install new roof including flashing. Verbal agreement work to be done 10/28-29. Paid $900 down, remainder on completion. Didn't perform work, new contract issued 11/3 with a date of completion on or before November 7. To date work not done; many excuses offered, some fabricated. Kept in touch letting me know schedule changes initially. No contact from him 11/11-11/18 when I threated legal action. He sent message on 11/18 he would return my money, but despite several inquiries, he has failed to do job or to return money. When I threatened to take action he said he will refund this week, blamed me that he has to return the materials for the job, even though he has not been able to perform the job pursuant to his own contract and timeline.
