I purchased a vehicle from this dealership and when I was first looking at it I asked if everything worked fine and they agreed that everything worked (engine, transmission, radio, a/c, etc). When I drove it off the lot I noticed that the radio didn’t work so I took it back and had them fix it but they have a tendency of blaming things on me even though the radio clearly didn’t work. He told me that the radio was already working but I just had it on “CD” mode but in reality the whole radio was disconnected and had no lights or anything. So that was one thing, but my main concern was my a/c. I didn’t use my a/c at all because it wasn’t too hot and I would always roll down the windows but I tried turning it on and it blew out hot air so it just needed to be recharged, so I took it back to the dealership and had the dealer recharge it and he did recharge it but he overfilled it and when I was driving home after the service was performed my vehicle starting shooting out refrigerant out of the line where he put the refrigerant. I didn’t think much of it at first but the refrigerant ran out quick. After the system was empty I actually bought a gauge the reads whether it is low on refrigerant, full, or if it has mechanical problems and it read that it has mechanical problems and it read that there was mechanical problems so I didn’t try to fill it. I told the dealer about this issue and he kept saying that he isn’t liable for the mechanical issues even though he was the last person to touch that part of my car. I kept telling him that I wanted it fixed because it’s really not my fault that it stopped working, he told me to go to his dealership again which I did and he just said it needed another recharge and so I tried refilling it myself and I used a whole can of refrigerant and it was still blowing out hot air. When he overfilled it, that caused a rupture somewhere in the a/c line and now it leaks the refrigerant. He told me I have to pay someone else to fix it even though he broke it.
Sorry for your bad experience with us. But there is few facts that is missing in the complain, first our policy state that we are offering 2weeks warranty or 500 miles and this issue with the car happened 4 months after. Second the car over 21 years old and issues can happen with older cars. Third as the customer state he tried to fill it out himself after and I don’t know what happen then if he he did it right or not. Again I would be happy to help the customer if he came before the warranty expired not 4 months after.
