Review: My cell phone received water damage on Sunday, August 25th and I googled places to get it fixed that day. I came across this establishment and called to discuss the repair of my phone. I asked for a quote and was told it was $100. After looking at other quotes online, this was a little higher then other stores but I was told I could bring it in right away. Walking in the store, I was given a quote in writing saying "fixed price: $100". I double checked verbally with the tech I was given my phone to and this time he said "$100 plus parts - but nothing major". I said I could pay $170 to go through Asurion cell phone insurance but would like to have it back the same day and he brushed it assuring me it would be cheaper. While nothing was verbally confirmed at that moment by him it was a customer service gesture that signaled I should leave and let them take care of it. I came back a few hours later and was told the price was $140 - cash only - because of "parts". I tested a few features on the phone, reluctantly paid assuming I was not being mislead and whatever "parts" needed to be fixed were at cost. The next morning, I tried making a call and while I could hear the person on the other line, they could not hear me. Speakerphone worked so It made no sense that the regular usage of the phone didn't. The camera was also not functioning and the music was all static.I called the company and they said to bring it back in. I feel misled to believe they were going to CORRECT what they did not fix for the original $140. After toying with it for 45 minutes,I was charged ANOTHER $30 which conveniently brought my total to $170 - same price as insurance and now today, ONCE AGAIN I am having issues with it. I believe this company is a scam and they charge whatever cash price they want exaggerating the price of parts.I was not given a receipt and upon looking at the ORIGINAL paperwork I was given, was definitely misled to believe its an all inclusive quote so I assume they are showing only $100 on the bookDesired Settlement: I would like a refund so I can go through a legitimate business who knows what they are doing and can properly fix my cell phone. I no longer have any trust in their abilities to repair this phone and should have been told up front there could be future issues. This company seems like a scam.
