Review: I saw a beautiful home rental listing online and made a booking inquiry and subsequently rented a home through Your Home International. Upon arriving at the rental house, the house was nothing like what had been pictured online, was in horrible condition with stained and broken furniture, walls with holes in them, wires hanging from the ceiling where light fixtures once were, and a dirty swimming pool. We were also told that the local ordinance did not allow for private home rentals and that our rental was technically against the law, so we were to tell any neighbors that we were friends with the owner just staying at the house but not renting it. We immediately requested a refund for the $15,000 we paid to rent this former luxury home. [redacted] from Your Home International was unwilling to refund our money, claiming that he had already paid the home owner his portion of the rental fee and could not get it back. He then told me to call his attorney and his attorney refused to answer my calls or return my calls.Desired Settlement: I would like my money refunded. I paid $15,000 to rent a luxury house and we did not stay in the house because it was dirty and unsafe.
