We boarded our dog this weekend and were extremely dissatisfied with the service providedOur regular kennel was full, and upon reference we trusted YDBF with our petWe picked up our dog yesterday (Sunday, June 22, 2014) during the allotted time frameI was stunned when I was signing my credit card receipt to see a doubled rate of $32.00, instead of the daily rate of $When I asked why I was being charged double, I was told: â The computer automatically charges daily at 11amâ This is unacceptable and bad business practiceThere is no notification on their website, or in the office stating that we would be charged double, for their convenience of being open 3p-5p on SundaysEven when we dropped her off on Saturday, we were not given any notice that we would be charged double for a Sunday pickup It would make sense if we arrived late, or it was our fault that caused an extra feeBut to be charged double for something that is out of our control is in my opinion very bad businessI felt suckered and cheated We were back in town within hours and could have picked her up; but due to their preferred hours, we had to wait, which charged us double (and no notification of being charged double) In addition to being charged double, we brought our own food (we donâ t have to with our usual kennel)For $32/night, I would think she was entitled to at least food provided by YDBF When we arrived home, I noticed her blanket was COVERED in white dog hairThis was surprising, as my dog is blackThis led me to believe that she was in a kennel with another dogI surely hope this is not the caseIf so, again, this is completely unacceptable In closing, I hope you can see my frustrationCustomer service is HUGE to me, and with no notification and a shrug answer when I inquired is unacceptableI only wish I had cash on me, so that I could pay $only for a one night stay, which is what I was told when I made the reservation, and which is what you advertise on your website, and even stated there on your counterI would like a $refund for being charged double for a one-night stay
