I received your correspondence re; ID# [redacted]. For your information it is Young's Sanitary Septic Service policy to review repair costs with the customer and get signature of authorization prior to the work. The customer signed off on the estimate and gave permission to...
proceed. After the work was completed the customer decided to protest the cost. After review I have decided to send adjustment of $800.00 to [redacted]. I believe the service is worth $2500.00 and it should have been more.Thank you for your correspondence.Sincerely,

Review: Young septic service pumped out my septic tanks and found a bad pump motor. they quoted me $2,500 for it's replacement. I told them to go ahead with the repair since the system was open and needed the repair done quickly. after the job was completed I got the pump # from youngs' and got on line to get a price. I thought $2,500 seemed very high but I had nothing to compare it to. I found the exact pump that was installed and with shipping it came to $650. a far cry from the $2,500.. the install time was between 6 and 7 hours. (2 guys 1 for 3hours and 1 for about 4 hours). even doubling the price of the pump to $1,300 that still leaves $1,200 for 6 hours of work. I have called the business twice to get an itemized bill and all I get is the quoted amount of $2,500 with a description of work. PRICE GOUGING.Desired Settlement: a refund of $800.00
