Yorba Linda Garage Door Repair

Review: My garage door had broken and I was unable to open the door or get my car out. I checked the internet for a local repair company and found the website http://yorbalindagaragedoorrepair.info/ 714 660-7659 and scheduled a repair. When the repair person Mark showed up he was in an unmarked van with no company information and dressed in a dirty white tshirt and jeans. He found that there were two broken hinges and a third that needed replacement and that they were not expensive to repair. It took him less than an hour to replace the three hinges and then he gave me a bill for $772. which included 3 hinges at $162 each ( I have now found them on the internet for about $20 a piece) and he charged me $95 for each replacement for labor for a total of $285 for one hour work. When I complained he said they were heavy duty hinges. He told me to make the check out to "Bar M" which was not the company I called.the next day I called the number and Mark the "dispatcher" who sounded a lot like the Mark who appeared to do the repairs, told me that his name was Mark Cohen. He said the owner of the business was [redacted] but he could not give h=me his last name nor the actual name of the business. He said to call back in the morning and ask for [redacted]. He said the business was based out of San Francisco.Clearly this is not a valid business despite their website. The website appears to be a Sham that is merely a call center to farm the work out to someone else.Desired Settlement: I want a description of the charges for services, and an invoice of what the hinges cost them and a reasonable refund to reflect the value of the services rendered.I have now spoken to another garage door repair service that has told me that this should have been about $200-300 max. I now know not to trust an internet business unless I verify their business license which I doubt these people have.
