Review: I leased a vehicle with Kia on May **, 2012. On June **, 2014, my lease with Kia ended because I started a new lease with Honda. My monthly payment to Kia was $672.52. Prior to starting a new lease with Honda, I made my monthly payment to Kia on June **, 2014. This payment was received, confirmed and posted on the Kia website on June **, 2014. On June **, 2014, a Honda representative called Kia to find out the payoff amount, which was $27,111.84. After Honda learned of the payoff amount, I started a new lease with Honda. On June **, 2014, I called Kia's customer service to inform them that I completed a car exchange, that I started a new lease with Honda and that I was owed the monthly payment I made to them in advance on June **, 2014. The customer service rep informed me that I needed to wait because Kia needed to find out first if I owed any violation tickets or escrow money. I informed the rep that I would call back in a week's time, which I did. During the next call, I was told a different story. I was informed during the second call that I was not going to be refunded because they had not received Honda's payoff check before June **, 2014, which is when the billing date expired. They claimed to have received the payoff check from Honda on July *, 2014. On August *, 2014, I called Kia again to ask regarding this issue. I was informed this time that Kia received the payoff check on July *, 2014 and not July *, 2014, as previously informed. However, my payment history listed on the Kia website and my monthly statement from Kia prove that Kia received Honda's payoff check on June **, 2014 and not in July, as their customer service reps previously informed me via telephone. Seeing as Kia received the payoff amount before the end of the billing cycle, the payment I made in advance is now owed to me. However, they refuse to refund me and continue to provide false information, claiming that they had not received the payoff amount on time.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the amount owed to me: $672.52.
