Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/04/27) */
I personally tried calling Ms. [redacted] several times, however, she never answered. I left messages and answered every email she sent.
Ms. [redacted], signed a contract/document and initialed each individually policy within the contract. We...
emailed her a copy for her personal records, so she could keep track of her own dates.
I tried to compromise with Ms. [redacted] by reducing her agreed cancellation fees (which also state they will be charged immediately once a cancellation is requested) from $600 to $250. I also offered her an option of a gift certificate for un-used classes as a courtesy, which is not normal gym membership practice. A great compromise which did not need to be offered since she signed and agreed to the original policy.
Ms. [redacted] responded to this gesture with a decline and stated she felt the matter was closed and she wanted to complain to the Revdex.com so other students knew to read her contract. We have over 300 members and she is the only one complaining of our policy.
So I really do not know what I am responding to.
I would recommend for everyone to read their contract before signing it, which is why we have each statement initialed to help promote individuals to read it first.
Feel free to contact me if I need to respond further. I am including the email correspondence between us for your reference below.
