I placed an order for a Drumi on April 16, 2020
On April 23, received an email from Yirego saying that they were experiencing some minor delays at the port, but that they were expecting a new shipment by the first week of May.
On June 11, still no Drumi. So, I sent an email to Yirego. On June 15, they responded, apologized for missing my order, and said that I would receive a tracking number within a week.
On June 26, still no tracking number. I sent another email.
June 29 they responded with a *** tracking number, saying that they have been having problems with *** pick up, and were working on it. I would receive an email once the Drumi had been scanned into their system.
Today, July 27 - still no Drumi, and the *** tracking site only says that a shipping label has been created (dated June 15). I called ***, spoke with several different departments, and all of them told me that they could see the label, but that no pick up was created, and no drop off had occurred. They also had no information for the package. I have received other packages, ordered after the Drumi, from other provinces, in far less time. They agreed that something seemed fishy, and urged me to contact the company.
While on the on hold with ***, I tried to *** a customer service number for Yirego (which doesn't exist), but found these reviews/complaints on this (Revdex.com) site.
I wrote another email - less than impressed - to Yirego, then decided to call my bank and see if they could dispute the payment, as it was made with a *** debit card.
If you're reading this, and are experiencing the same issues, the lovely man I spoke with told me that THERE IS A TIME LIMIT FOR FILING A DISPUTE CLAIM. I got mine in just in the nick of time.
Don't wait 3 months.
As he said, that is much too long to wait for any shipment to arrive, and it could very well be a scam. File your claims so you can still get your money back. It may take up to 60 days to see it on your account (for a bank - not sure about credit card purchases), but it's far better than losing out completely.
He also advised that, if by some magic, Yirego does manage to get their affairs in order and my Drumi does happen to arrive at some point in the near future, to immediately return it to sender. If I did still want it, consider trying to find a more secure way to purchase it.
Overall - terrible experience.
Disappointing - it really looked like it could be a great product.
Order #: XXXXX Drumi - Portable Washing Machine: I have purchased their product online on June 9, 2020. Prior to my order, I had emailed the company and they indicated to me that the product was in stock and ready for immediate shipping. I have not received the item; today, it has been 13 days since I ordered it. I have emailed the company several times and only received 1 response from them indicating that "hopefully it will be processed soon ... we will keep an eye on your package". There is no telephone number to contact them. I have requested a refund on June 18, 2020, but again no response from the company.
I am requesting a refund.
I made an online purchase of their *** product on Feb 12. I recieved an email of confirmation of my order and nothing else.
Feb 18, I was a little curious to find out that there was no other information to check on my order so I wrote an email to clarify if my order had been processed or if it had been shipped.
I did so because on their website it shows 2-5 business day delivery and was curious if I was going to be given a tracking number on my package.
Feb 21, I emailed out again to get some information.
Feb 24, I had called their office in which their Canadian business is registered to find that their answering machine was not of the business. I wrote an email to them requesting a refund for their lack of transparency and poor service, and not getting back to me on my email.
In a matter of 22 minutes I get a response back saying that they are waiting for my *** will be arriving in the warehouse for the Friday of the week.
I respond back 3 minutes later saying that I rather take my refund and I don't hear back.
Feb 25 I get an email from *** (Marketing and Communications) and ask me what I can do to assist me in my *** Order. I again request a refund again with proof of receipt.
Feb 26, I get an email from *** and he asks why I'm asking for a refund and responded with him that I made it clear in my original response.
Mar 2, I again email them to get my refund.
I just would like my refund for this product as I've lost confidence in them providing even the most simplistic support if anything happens to arise from using this product.

Placed order nov 2019. Received dec 16 2019 and very happy. It broke 3 weeks later. They wanted to ship me bearings for me to replace. I want them to fix. Shipping is $217.00. Machine was $390.00. I need their phone # to ship package and they won't give it to me. They offered to cover $100.00 towards shipping. That over $500.00. For machine. I want to be rid of this broken machine. And can't because of no phone #. ***. I just want my money back now. And nothing to do with this machine.

I am sorry to hear that the machine you received is not working properly. Our product is built with modular component and base on the video we saw we believe the problem is caused by a malfunctioning bearing. The bearing can be accessed by unscrewing 4 screws securing the drum, than 3 more screws securing the bearing component. Our machine is quite large, it is very costly by sending it to us to fix than sending it back to you. Would you be ok to receive a replacement and see if the problem can be resolved?

I have made multiple requests to cancel my order before it was shipped. It was stated in their policy that you can cancel your order before it's shipped to get a full refund. I haven't heard anything from this company to process my cancellation and issue me the refund. The customer service is so bad. ***.
I had given the company money in 2015 as part of a kickstarter campaign to develop a product called a Drumi, and manual washing machine. My initial correspondence had to do with the company not responding to any emails I sent regarding when I would receive my Drumis (i paid for two.) Shortly after our correspondence, I did hear from the company. I eventually received my two Drumis in November of 2018. When I unpacked one machine and tried to use it, I found it was inappropriate for my New York City apartment. It required a floor drain or being lifted into the bathtub to drain. I used it once and realized it was not for me. I contacted Yirego in December to return the Drumis and receive my money back. After much correspondence (also not in a timely manner) she "agreed" to take the machines back, although it was not their practice. Obviously when I invested in the company in 2015 there was no mention of returned. I have been told by Petal that they will take my machines back and I would be refunded my initial payment LESS shipping fees! SIx months after my initial request to return the machines, the two boxes sit in my dining room and with no recent correspondence on how I can return these machines and receive my discounted investment back. Can you please assist? The poor customer service and inability to fulfill the company's promise to take these machines back and receive my refund has me in a position where I am coming to you, hoping you can get results from the company where I have not been able. I placed my order for the Drummi in December 2017. I received a shipping notification in March 2019 and after multiple e-mails confirming my address, nothing from Yirego. Since 2017, Yirego has provided its early supporters and interest-free financial backers with minimal updates (maybe 3 in the course of nearly 2 years) and is not responding to e-mails. Please refer to their *** page for a well documented list of complaints. It seems few have actually received the *** and those requesting a refund are being ignored. The lack of transparency and communication is appauling!
At the end of 2018 I was told I would receive my Drumi by April 2019 which is 2 years post order. No sign of it as yet and have been trying to get a hold of Petal W. who seems to deal with communication but she is not answering me.,*** I think it's biggest problem is their PR department which is very poor that is if they do indeed have one. I'm a patient person but I need to know what's going on. If you don't keep your promises you have to let me know why this is so.
After several years of waiting from the time my order was replaced, I received an email on January 8, 2019, indicating my product would be arriving in four weeks. That product has yet to arrive. I repeatedly am told different stories. On February 12, the company told my product had arrived in Canada, but then on February 26, I was told it was stuck in the United States. On March 21, I was told that I would receive delivery the following week in response to an email on March 19 requesting a refund. The company is refusing to process a refund because my credit card details have changed and they say they are unable to update it.
I would like a refund, issued by cheque, issued immediately.

While I accept the factual claims - that the order was picked up, it is important to note the following:
1. In January, I received an email telling me my item would be arriving in 4 weeks.
2. The item was not picked up until April - significantly more than 4 weeks.
3. Each time the company did reply to an email - slowly - I received a different story. I was told things were in the US, then they were in Canada, then they were in customs. I had to resort to multiple emails, *** posts, ***, etc... to get a resolution.
The only reason I was able to pick up the item was because I happen to be in the same city as the company. Other people - experiencing the same issues - are not as lucky.
While I accept the fact that I picked the item up, the broader issues remain.
I ordered my Drumi in November 18 2015. I was charged 180 initially and was charged 120. For a total of 300 dollars. I have been trying to contact them via email and they just ignore my emails. It's been 3 years since I made my order. This is unacceptable.The credit card that was used to make this purchase is paid off to it's entirety and therefore the account is closed. I want to get paid via check or via paypal

Order placed in May 2015. Inquired about my order on September 7 the 2018 and have only received an automated email stating that my inquiry has been received. Now September 28th and feeling ignored. All I want is to know is confirmation I have an order.
On February 25, 2018 I paid for a manual washing machine for $349.00 plus taxes.
I was told delivery would be late spring.
I still have not received the item and received another email that said

Although *** has promised me the machine "as soon as possible" I still do not have it and retain the right to keep this file open until the machine is delivered. He claims that shipments have begun to the USA and should also begin to Canada within the next few weeks. He also claims that there are many orders ahead of mine to fill first. I have agreed to accept a slightly damaged unit in advance of a "new" unit suggesting that I would return the slightly damaged unit when the new one is received or I also have provided a USA address that he can send the order to in order to expedite the delivery.
I responded this customer via my email and he said he would keep the case open until we have an unit ready for him and doesn't want a refund.
I think there is one I can arrange for him now.

Just after I fired off my note to you on Friday, I got an email from them with a *** tracking number!
The shipping/receiving company they sent it too never contacted me because Yirego did not put my name on the package!! (Odd I know)... Nonetheless, the receivers found it, so I finally got it my coveted washer machine. I waited 10 months and argued like crazy and even complained to the Revdex.com but my badgering paid off.
I just unpacked it and we are suitably impressed!!! (Although my cat doesn't seem to be too impressed) Not to make excuses for them, but I believe this machine was engineered and developed by university students in Toronto and they had serious launching and delivery problems, however it is incredibly well engineered. It looks like it will be very durable!!

I have been attempting to get a refund from this company since May 16, 2018 for an order that I placed on May 20, 2017 and still have not received. I have sent about 12 emails in the past month and got 2 replies. Both times they asked me to confirm my Credit Card information was still active and they would process the refund. When I tell them that the card was compromised and give them the updated card number for the account, I receive no reply.
All i want is a refund of my money. I was charged $268 USD for the product plus a $8.04 USD foreign transaction charge

I pre-ordered (and prepaid for) one of Yirego's large Drums two years ago. I have contacted the company several times (through email and through a link on their website) requesting a refund stating that I no longer have need for their product. The only response I have received back from them was an update on their production and when they expect to start shipping.
Apparently I am not the only one having this issue because when I went to their facebook page there were others who had made comments regarding the same issue.
I want a complete refund of my money. They have had access to my funds for two years. They should be offering this with interest!

In August of 2017 I purchased a washing machine from the company. It is now 10 months later and I still have not received the product. I have reached out to the company in order to get a refund but that was fruitless. Company has not responded nor has refunded my money.
I would prefer to get a refund. Company should disclose that product is still in the manifactoring stages.

I purchased a "Drumi" on February 3, 2018 for my daughter. She has not received the product as of this date May 1, 2018 and my most recent response on April 8, 2018 indicated problems with production. I can appreciate production problems but I was unaware at the initial purchase that this was a "Pre-Production" purchase. Furthermore, the response begins to sound like I have been duped. It's been almost a month since the last communication but still no product.

Thanks for taking the time to write to us. Apologize for the delay in getting back to you. Please find below a quick update on production for you.
Due to our high standard and the innovative nature of the product, we weren't able to increase the production rate. Many parts were sent back. For example, the light blue sheet you see in the pictures below act as a protective cover for your stainless steel Drum. The initial production run produced Drum with light scratching on the surface due to poor quality of the cover. New covers were ordered and further production run was initiated.
Many more LRIP (Low rate initial production) phases were conducted to verify corrections and improvements for plastic components, aluminum drive system and silicon parts. They also establish the initial production base and set the stage for a gradual increase in production rate to allow for Full-Rate Production.
There are hundreds of people involved with making your product. We are checking with them on a daily basis to ensure we are on tract and resolve any issue that arise.
Next week, works are scheduled to begin assembling practice and establish procedures on the assembly line. Shipping will begin when assembly is finished.
In the meantime we also took the initiative to complete and pass the following five certifications for you to ensure your product is safe for both you and the environment.
CE - European standard of health, safety, and environmental protection.
RoHS - Restriction of Hazardous Substances
CPSC - US Consumer Product Safety Commission.
REACH - European Union Regulation for protection of human health and the environment from chemical risks.
WEEE - Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment test shown Drumi use 97.85% Reusable/Recyclable and 97.8% Recoverable materials.

As mentioned in our previous newsletter, we were planning to begin shipping in February, but had to pause because the bearing did not pass the salt spry test, a corrosion test to estimated the corrosion resistance of our bearing.
All factories closed during February as workers return home to celebrate Chinese New Year. This meant we couldn't improve the bearing even though we had plans because everything was shut down.
We can send you photos of processed bearing. The one processed has held its colour after hours in the machine. This proof our treatment was effective and we can now apply it to all of our bearings.
The process does require some additional time, we are pushing for delivery as soon as possible. Like you, we want you to receive your product asap. But we still need to examine every unit carefully to make sure the machine you receive is of high quality.
