When I was first put on the waiting list on Oct. 8, 2019, I sent an inquiry through the registration portal looking for input on my chance to find a registration number for the event. Between that initial inquiry and October 14th, the Director, Jason ***, and myself had 9 emails transmit between us (5 by me, 4 by the Director). Towards the end of the year (2019) and the early part of 2020, I realized that an injury that I had been dealing with was only getting worse. As I attempted to push through the extreme pain I was dealing with along with doctor/therapist consults, I realized that it was not in my best interest to continue to plan to participate in the March 14th event. On Jan. 16, 2020, I sent my initial inquiry to the Director regarding my situation and to give him time to move my registration to another wait lister along with processing a refund for my registration expense ($80.31). Between Jan. 16th and Feb. 14th, I sent 7 emails to the Director with no response (using the same email address I had used in 2019 along with the same email address the Director had used). Also, during this time, I placed 3 calls to the number that was listed in the Director's email signature, to no avail. In addition, I posted a Facebook message on March 2nd and March 4th on the Yeti Trail Runners Facebook page (March 2nd post seems to have been deleted) along with a March 2nd post in another Facebook group's page where there were members that might be interested in the event. After going to GA's Sec. of State page, I was able to find a 2nd email address for the Director. On March 9th, I emailed the Director again (8th email since being registered) using both email addresses and quickly got a reply indicating that none of my previous emails. On the 9th by the time I submitted this complaint, we had 5 emails transmitted (3 from me, 2 from the Director) re: my issue and subsequent request. I was old there was now no wait list and that I could defer my registration. At this point, this is not satisfactory.

Refund I have made an effort to find someone else to move my registration to so that the company wouldn't be out of my registration fee. In addition, part of the urgency in connecting with the Director was to go back to the waiting list to find someone that still wanted to participate that had missed out. Based on what I've learned today with finally making a connection with the Director, there is no waiting list. Therefore, I'm requesting a full refund of $80.31 to my original payment method.
