Review: I paid $46 to have a dress hemmed and some beads re-adhered to a bridesmaids dress for my brothers wedding. I picked up the dress and when I got to the hotel for wedding to put it on I noticed only the front of the dress was hemmed, the back half was just cut with a scissor, strings hanging everywhere. At 5:30pm (now late for my brothers wedding rehearsal) I found another cleaner ([redacted] who was able to re-do the entire hem and fix the half done job for me in only a matter of hours for $25. I then went back to YES cleaners, which is on my corner and my husband and I spend a FORTUNE there to tell them how they only hemmed half the dress. The lady refused to believe me, told me I was making this up, and insisted I bring the dress as proof. I tried to explain that there was no point in showing her the dress as they re-did the ENTIRE hem so there was nothing to see. Annoyed, I got the dress and showed her. She then called her tailor, hung up with them and told me they did not hem half the dress and that they "don't do that". Annoyed, I asked her if she was accusing me of making this whole thing up which she said yes as she insisted it did not happen. I showed her the receipt from the tailor that fixed their poor work and it got me no where. I understand mistakes happen, and given the amount of money I spend there, I really expected her to apologize, refund my money and I probably would have continued to go there, but instead she insisted I made the whole thing up and I feel helpless and taken advantage of.Desired Settlement: I want my money back and I want others to know how this place does business, I'd like for them to know a formal complaint has been filed and hopefully that changes the way they run things.
