Mr. K..who I had been doing business with to move into a two family home located at NJ; but the property still has & had work to be done. He wanted October's months rent but wanted to give us the keys to move in on Nov. 10th with a pro rated rent of $1100 for the month of November. It is stated in our lease that 1 months rent would not be included how ever Mr. K still tried to charge us as well as not have the few things in the apartment fixed ie; the leak in the celling, no doorbell (wire still hanging from wall ) but want us to rush the process by saying the landlord is putting pressure on him & he has someone else he wants to rent to. When we told him to rent it to the other person he stopped calling us & he is refusing to answer any of mine or Eric’s calls, emails or text messages regarding the return of our security deposit claiming it’s because of their holidays. We also have no way of getting in contact with the said landlord who has our deposit.
