I purchased a BNF B-roll complete quadcopter. Upon receipt, it did not function as advertised. After plugging a bettery pack into the quadcopter and activating the arming switch the motors began to spin but quickly failed to function properly, shortly after there was a strong burning smell and one of the motors was extremely overheating after being one for less than 45 seconds then several motors stopped functioning entiterly. I suspect a short fried then entire electronic speed controller and several motors.This was within the span of a minute or less. Fearing a fire I unplugged the battery from the drone and have not tried again since. I have emailed the company several times over the last two weeks and received no response, I have called the company several times and recieved no response. As well, their voicemail is not set up for me to leave a verbal message. As of now, I have no recourse, or proper way of contacting them as they will not respond to my emails. I have receipts of purchase, shipping information, and all the emails to validate my claim. In my emails, I detailed as best I accurately could the problem I was having.

The company Xhover which is the parent company to Kwadbox subscription boxes has failed to properly resolve issues with payments, delivery and customer service. The company has managed to bill me for two of there monthly subscription boxes none of which have been fulfilled on time or even fulfilled at all. There website clearly states when they are expecting to ship the product and are over a week late and counting. I have had numerous failed attempts at reaching the company for information regarding my purchases and when I have made contact they failed to give me any information. They also only are reachable by email with no public phone number for customers. I was also lied to multiple times by company employees.

I received Bind N Fly Drone Win5L in question in April, after just 2 flights the ESC failed. Contacted support and they ask to return it and they would repair it. I received repaired unit. Within 3 flights the Second ESC or Flight controller failed. Returned again. I was advised by the support staff that they are having issues with the HGLRC branded stack used and would like use another brand type stack. The new powerstack was ONLY 20amps compared the original 40 amp ESC I purchased with the Bind n Fly unit. The repaired unit was sent back to me and on first flight, drone fail safes within 50ft of where I was standing. All captured on video and posted to YouTube. Tried second flight from failsafe ...this time flying even closer than last failure and it failsafe again. (All on video). Powered up for 3rd time and this time video transmitter was not working. Support asked for it to be returned and I also told them the craft seemed very lacking in power with the new power stack. Support ask if I would give another model a try with a Full sized Power Stack. I said I would try. I was told the replacement, now a Win5 not the (L) model, was shipped but this turned out to be a lie and I have the texted messages to prove it. This is where things began to change on their part in being cooperative. After numerous communications asking for status of replacement and missing a critical important race they finally shipped the "replacement" to me. The owner even told me he personally flew it and was good to go. The replacement Win5 unit arrived and the setup and tune was horrible. The Camera was so out of focus nothing could be viewed from the camera. The video transmitter was not properly configured to work with this unit. The power stack gets EXTREMELY hot within seconds of plugging in power. This indicates a short somewhere. There was no possible way this unit was even tested before being shipped as that was physically impossible from the condition this unit was shipped to me in. Looking closer and solder joints looked like it was a rush job or from a beginner completed it at best. Their own team pilot, *** looked over this unit and said the workmanship look spotty and he would speak with Mr.l. The Video transmitter was mounted in between the Flight controller and ESC unprotected or shielded possible causing a short to the unit. I only flew it once just as a test and take video proof of the bad setup and issues. The video reception was terrible and I could not believe how bad the video was being a “new” item that was “tested” by the owner himself several times before shipping. I reported these issues to support and Mr ***l began to be combative and negative with me. Stating I was “now taking advantage of them” I in return simply stated all I am looking for is a BNF race quad that works. I bent over backwards working with their support and being very patient considering all the issues I have experienced. His accusations drew the line. I asked for current situation to be fixed and we would then walk away. He requested that I contact their support and open another ticket so this may be tracked. I did so and no longer heard back from the XHover support. I sent a text message direct to the owner *** and would not respond. He replied once by mistake and told me to take it up with PayPal. We are past the PayPal dispute window now and that is no longer an option. I have MANY text messages to support my willingness to work with support and Mr.l. I will also post here a link of YouTube videos showing the issues with current Win5 race quad.
Let me also note this model is NOT the model I even ordered Win5L. They are trying to pull a bait a switch and run away job now. Very unprofessional company for not following through. Buyer beware.
