[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.First, they sent me an email stating that the issue of them not shipping my laptop screen is more that days old so in thier view no refund will be issued because it it past the refund stageI was not responsible for any delaysThey were the party that refused to correspond and communicate with me the customer to expedite the process of shipping the item to meSecond, I made numerous calls to their business number and left several messagesI even told them that it was my plan to contact the Revdex.com if I did not here from them by a date certainStill they did not communicate with me regarding my itemI even sent an email to let them know that I was not in receipt of my item that was paid for when the order was placedI have included a copy of the email confirmation as per their requestHowever, at this time I want a refund of my $and I do not want them to try to ship the itemI have not trust in them or their productsThe only reason they are even resoonding to me at this point is because I made a complaint.]
Regards,
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
When dealing with multiple business entities, S K Internation, or Laptops4less, or nbbatt, there that appears to take responsibility for promises no kept.
1) As far as the claim the battery was charged, there is no way to substantiate the claim. The date of manufacture is in question, so it may be past a date the battery would hold a charge.
2) As for the claim that the laptop computer was at fault, when purchasing the battery there was no mention that the battery might not possibly work. To claim so now is after the fact and did not permit me, the end consumer to judge whether the purchase should have been made.

Your form does not allow for expansion and I was unable to complete my response to my satisfaction.
3) With regard to the claim that "nbbatt.com" was a brick and mortar" operation; the business address is residential, not commercial. So, although it is "brick and mortar" in the conventional sense, it is not conventional in the sense that this is not a store front in a commercial setting. As with many intenet businesses, the site gives a false impression of the business entity and their customer service claims. According to the [redacted]
Assistant Land Use Administrator [redacted] New Castle (Delaware) County Government " Our Code does allow for home based businesses as long as they meet certain criteria and don’t negatively impact the residential character of the community. The attached FAQ does a nice job of explaining the details. However, such businesses are required to register with New Castle County and that may not have happened in this particular case. Our Code Enforcement section is looking into the situation. Feel free to contact me with additional questions or concerns. It is also clear that the husband works elsewhere and not at the "brick and mortar" home offices of nbbatt.com, which is why he was unavailable through
the business phone.
4) On the shipping charges, the phone was answered by the business owner (the husband) and was quoted by him. He did not give caveat; that is to say he did not say the price might
change, nor did he say it was dependant on the carrier. The price changed when it was determined that the USPS, which is notoriously late on overnight deliveries, rejected an overnight delivery request. At the point where I was informed 3 hours after
contact, which by then was too late to contract with another reputable company for the replacement part.
5) On the claim of "good customer service", this is another self-serving and misleading claim. My first contact with the company was via a live chat, which prompted first providing the "customer request". When chat began it was clear the "agent" had no idea what I was talking about. I followed up with a phone call to three phone numbers at around 9:30 am. The third phone number was answered by the husband, who provided overnight quotes and assurances the battery was OEM, which now seems doubtful. Subsequent calls to / from the company were from the owner's wife to whom English is a second language and culturally was not customer oriented and, instead, was argumentative. Furthermore, my emails, marked with receipt request, have yet to have a response.
6) On the nbatt.com, or whatever the real business is there in the residence of the [redacted], claim of testing or charging a battery in their facilities is facetious. It is not reasonable that they would, by chance, just happen to have have the laptop I have to charge the battery needed by my laptop. Their claim of "we maintain large test laptops and battery testers" is equally questionable as it is doubtful that the residential business is set up as a PC testing facility.
7) The charge to my credit card was to be as a "credit" not "debit" just in case a situation such as this arose.
8) The posted Sate of Delaware business license for www.LaptopsandParts4Less.com was valid from 1/1/2010 until 12/31/2012. If the website is current, then the business is no longer registered to operate in Delaware.
The Revdex.com of Maryland would better serve the public to check the real business (physical "bricka and mortar") of "SK International" and "Laptops and Parts4Less.com". Better yet,
perhaps the town of Bear should look into whether this business can legally operate out of the residential neighborhood at [redacted] This business is a sham.
customer called early before our store opened and he is in hurry.
we gave approximate cost of shipping charges and after 3 hours when see that he live in remote location and require special overnight
and we told him it will cost more and he started arguing and finally he agreed...
and asked us to us.
We are reputable delaware business having brick and mortar store in delaware, unlike .com companies who do not have a store and they
do not have time to talk to customers and listen to customers,. but care about customers, we go above and beyond and take extra mile
Before we ship the battery we told him we will test in exact same laptop DELL E1705 (no other sellers test on same laptop for compatibility ) but did this
extra step to him to make sure battery does work ( we maintain large test laptops and battery testers)
and we tested 1 hour and we already mentioned this to customer.
we shipped the battery as agreed overnight and customer received on time and when he tested the battery in his laptop it did not work
It turns out that his laptop might have defect battery port or some hardware issue. We are not responsible for this.
All we can do is test the product before we ship.
To help the customer we gave another option to ship another battery but customer refused saying that he do not want to pay anything for 2nd battery.
how fair it is,
We respond to customers phone calls 24/7 365 days a week, no other business selling computer parts do this.
All we ask is just bear actual shipping cost we do not need profit if a product is not useful.
Overnight shipping involves some risk on products shipping online. Especially batteries for 10 year older model laptops which tend to caught hardware issues.
I request Revdex.com to consider the facts involved in this dispute and advise customer to return the battery to us at our address
[redacted]
Again we only refund cost of battery shipping charges are not returnable
Review: I paid for a laptop screen and the company never delivered the screen. I have been trying to get through to them on the phone without success. I have left several messages and no one has returned my calls. The screen cost approximately $206. I would like my money back.Desired Settlement: At this point I would like to have my money refunded to me.

Review: nbbatt.com, a business associated with S K International and www.LaptopsandParts4Less.com, was contracted to fill a purchase order for a Dell E1705 laptop replacement battery. nbbatt.com advertises free shipping on everthing" on their homepage. When the order was placed at 9:00 am, Feb. 25, the phone was answered by the business owner, who quoted a price for the replacement battery and $21.99 guaranteed overnight shipping. Later, that morning, a shipping clerk called to confirm shipment and quoted a new overnight delivery price of $26.99 for Federal Express, not USPS guaranteed next day delivery. The product was delivered and did not function. I called the business owner. He offered to send a replacement for the cost of overnight delivery. When I declined and responded that I would be giving an unfavorable review at Revdex.com he committed to send a return shipping slip and refund the monies charged to my Visa. To date, nothing has been received. I consider service to be poor, in extremely bad faith. A Revdex.com rating of A+ is misleading and unwarranted for this at home based business.Desired Settlement: All monies refunded in full, for which I will gladly return the unusable battery once a return shipping slip is received.
