Dear Revdex.com,We received you letter today about the complaint from [redacted]. We made every attempt to service his system per our Service Policy. When Mr. [redacted] called our office on January 24, 2017 he was yelling furiously and would not allow us to respond,...
therefore, instead of continuously subjecting ourselves to his verbal abuse, we asked that he call back after he calmed down so that a conversation could occur. He immediately called back, still yelling therefore we told him someone would call him back later and we hung up. This was not the first time we have endured verbal abuse from his or his wife. Therefore, we already refunded his money accompanied by this letter (below), which was mailed to him on January 25, 2017."Our service technician hos attempted to service the aerobic system located at 21445 Fairview Circle on several occasions, There has been ongoing rood construction that has prevented us from servicing the system, on the days that we have been in your area. Our contract states that if we are unable to service the system, then there would be a service coil charge to return to service. However, since the construction is no fault of yours or ours we've not charged any additional service charges to return. Our office has been in contact with you and your wife during this process. At one point we were given specific directions of on alternate route, however when the technician took this route the construction crew was there and informed him that he could service the system before 9:00 am or after 5:00 pm. This, however, is not a time that our technicians are servicing systems in your area. We were also notified on 01/12/17 that the construction is clearing up and access shouldn't be as difficult. Your work order was re-circulated to be serviced when the technician was back in your area servicing systems. As of today, we will be pulling the work order out of circulation.Our office staff has been subjected to extreme verbal hostility by both you and your wife on more than one occasions during this process Therefore it is apparent that for the best interest of both parties we are cancelling the service contract and refunding the service visits that have not yet been performed. A refund check in the amount of $380.00 for the remaining 4 services not yet performed is attached. We will forward the appropriate documents to the county office.In on effort to assist you in locating a new service provider (name omitted) we have provided contact information for a service provider that services Clearstream aerobic systems in your area. We do hope that you find satisfaction with the new service provider of your choosing."Please consider this matter resolved as the owner has already been sent a refund, prior to us receiving this letter about the complaint, without his asking. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
However, the company should learn the difference between verbal abuse and verbal assertion. My wife states she had one conversation with the organization the only thing she said to them was " you need to talk to my husband about that." I don't consider that abusive.
