Hello, Re: complaint id #[redacted], this file shows the student was already scheduled and serviced correctly by the driver. The student was a no show for first session where times were adjusted to evening time and student was texted times of set appointment and driver did go out. When trying to...
set new dates instructor messaged the student to set new dates and we have not received a reply back since. Student may contact us directly regarding rescheduling or can keep his refund that shows was processed through [redacted] already less any fees for services/or cancelation fees already rendered. Please have student call or text us, us at [redacted]
Thank you, DS Admin [redacted]
This file was billed correctly and all fees were authorized and explained in detail and approved by the student who used the mothers card. Once the mother called in, she did say she authorized the fees, but no longer wanted the services. We issued a partial refund based on services rendered already as well as any cancellation fees if applicable to student file. Please find attach a copy of the refund, as a one time courtesy since payee changed mind after authorizing file. The fees refunded was any monies left, less any services already rendered/between 2015 (time of enrollment) and or any cancellation fees due. Please call us if any additional information is needed.
Teen packages here are great and include permit online course and behind the wheel training. Would highly recommend. We paid a great rate for everything and and opted for the 12 hour course, and did the free online course, however, my niece also did the six hours at her high school program and got really good discounts. Six hours is much cheaper, than any other school I checked, However my daughter is nervous, so I opted for the 12 hours. Great staff and prices also.
Review: My daughter signed up for online driving school through a plus driving school (which I guess is also Worlwide driving school) She signed up on the internet 9/24/13. I called on 9/25/13 and was told the cost would be free but you were required to to pay up front the $199 for the behind the wheel. They requested payment over the phone stating that she could not start the online course without a code or payment for behind the wheel. I reluctantly paid over the phone and was charged on 10/1/13 $234.00 (they stated that you had to pay them a cert fee for the DMV) they also stated that they would provide a number for her and send it to the DMV so that they would have her in their system when she went in to take her permit. My daughter started the online courses and although it took a lot longer than most (8.5 months to be exact) she finally finished on Sat 6/14/14. I called on Sun night 6/15/14 and left a message asking how to we go about getting the completion certificate so that we could take it to the DMV. I never got a call back so I called on Monday 6/16/14 and spoke with Betty who informed me that it had been too long and that they had to access her file which had been archived and that they would have to reinstate it. I was also told that the only way to get the online course free was to complete it within 90 days ( which we were never told in the beginning) also I was informed that we would have to pay the behind the wheel again as well as a certificate fee because it had been longer than 6 months. I was told that all that information was in the contract that should have been mailed to me. It never was and when I asked if they would mail me a copy now, she stated that we would have to come by with our ID and my daughter present as well to the office and they would give me a copy, they would not be able to mail me or email me a copy because it has been so long. I have read numerous complaints such as this and am furious. I wish I would not have been so naive and read all the reviews before choosing this school. I would just like for my daughter to be able to get her permit. And now I am afraid to have her do the behind the wheel because of all the horrible reviews and stories I have been reading.Desired Settlement: I would like to get the certificate for her completing the online school and to have her 6 hrs of behind the wheel done without having to pay extra being as I was never given a contract and only offered a contract after I called and complained.

Review: I had looked into several driving schools before selecting Worldwide Driving/AKA* A Plus Driving School. When speaking to a representative at Worldwide I was advised that fee would be 199.00 for the behind the wheel training and the educational portion could be done online at no charge. I was extremely excited and felt they had the best price comparable to other schools. I went ahead paid for the school and received an email confirmation of my proof of payment.
My daughter immediately passed the written course and later passed her permit, following the passing of the permit we scheduled the behind the wheel training. I became a little concern after my daughter first be hind the wheel training, when she told me the instructor and her picked up another student and she was also in the car while the other student was driving. I think if this is the school normal procedure they should advise the parents, being that I am a nervous mom with my daughter being behind the wheel, I then became extremely nervous for her to be in car with another student driver learning to drive; however despite my concerns I continued the program and arranged for another behind the wheel training.
Now it is time for the third and final behind wheel training, I am currently out of town and received an email notification that my account had been over drawn, when reviewing my account I notice that A Plus Driving School had withdrawn $65.00 from account. I extremely confused for two reason, 1st- I had paid for the course in full on 9/5/13 and 2nd- I did not authorize them to draft out my account on 12/31/13. I was not even aware my card was being held for continuance transaction, per when I paid the up front fee the email receipt served as confirmation to draft from account for the $199.00.
I then contacted my bank and Worldwide, per the representative the fee of $65.00 was drafted out my account for additional DMV fee and there yellow certificate, I then advised I was never told there would be additional fees and did not authorize them to draft from my account. Representative stated the additional fee is noted on the contract that was attached to the receipt, I indicated I never received a contract, she said it should be attach to the receipt and for me to check my receipt.
When checking the receipt I found it to be very misleading, and at no time I was told that a contract would be attached, you should think the customer would want to review the contract and making sure they completely understand the requirements before the pay the fee. At no time in my initial consultation I was advised of anything noted in the contract other than the $199.00 upfront fee and the information to get started.
When contacting the DMV I was told there will be no additional fee required, per the fee was paid at the time the permit test was taken.
II have been communicating to Worldwide by email, I also provided a copy of the contract that was sent with my receipt providing proof that the contract does not state there be additional fee of $65.00, intern Worldwide has terminated my service stating they know that I am not satisfied with there service, so therefore I can complete the course with a another school.
My daughter and I have been in compliance with this school and had no problem up until they drafted out my account unauthorized and failed to provide proof of charge. My daughter had only two hours left to complete the training, which I paid for and should not have to go to another school to complete the process.Desired Settlement: I would like for my daughter to be able to complete her last two hours of the be hind the wheel with Worldwide/A Plus Driving School and for a Worldwide/A Plus driving school to provide a certificate of completion or they can refund me the total amount paid and we will go to another school to complete the service

This student has received a refund for services not rendered. We never charged her account without her authorization and consent. She never asked for a refund for the services rendered to her as we probably would go ahead and do that for the sake of not wasting anymore of her time or our time. Please let us know if this is what she is requesting. Thank you.
Review: On November, I called this school for their services. After describing their offers and the prices, the person on the line told me to chose a deal and then asked for my debit card information. She immediately charge me $254 for the service. She then started telling me about additional fees that weren't mention before. I told her I change my mind and won't use their services. The problem was that she already charge me while we were talking and that have to personally be at their office to sign a form so I can get a refund. So I went to their office the following weekend, I sign the form, waited an hour to see if their system will process the refund and turns out the school's insurance company won't give back the money I paid. According to my attendant that day, the only thing that could be done is to see if both the manager and the company agree in extending the service or transferring it to someone else. This didn't made sense, I paid the school and it was the school's error, their insurance had nothing to do with this. So I gave them my number and my weekly schedule so they can call me when available. However, months passed and the few times they called was when I was too busy to answer (at school or work). Every time I tried to call back, I was sent to voicemail. I was finally able to reach them 2 months ago to transfer the service to my younger sister since I didn't plan on using it anymore. But it turns out that there are also additional fees for transfers, something they didn't mention before. My only option was to use the service within 2 months I have left. Sadly, I never got to renew my driving permit. I was left with nothing while the school got away with keeping the money they charge me for a service I didn't used or wanted in the first place. Now this week, they charged me once again, without my authorization. Apparently the school didn't bother to erase my information from their system so according to them, their insurance charged me a $205 extension I didn't ask for.Desired Settlement: This school has been a scam for me this entire time. All they have done is blame their insurance company, which I never made any agreement with, wanting to change me extra for something I haven't use and now charging me a fee I didn't agree on. I want a full refund, not just for the $205 transaction this week, but also the $254 they never wanted to give back.

Review: I paid the $200 fee for my son to receive driving instructions behind the wheel. My son was able to pass the test this past Friday after three attempts. When I called the school and spoke with [redacted], she stated I would need to pay an additional $100 dollars and that she informed me of that fee which is not true. I even looked at the pink form that the school provides and I did not see any where on that form that states I need to pay an additional fee if the permit is not received within 90 days. Now I am fearful of paying an additional $100 dollors becasuse after reviewing all the reviews on this company, many people have stated this is a corrupt company. Also, they say that the instructors do not show up for the driving and I have tried to leave messages for a supposed supervisor by the name of [redacted] at ph #[redacted] on Friday, 10/25/13 and 10/29/13 with no return calls. Addtionally, the receptionist who claims she informed me of this additional fee, [redacted], provided me an email address of [redacted] which I sent an email this morning, 10/29/13, and have not received a response.Desired Settlement: To have my son receive his driving instructions and have his permit signed by this agency without having to pay an additional $100 which would make it a total of $300 to pay the school for six hours of driving. And to speak with a supervisor.
Review: They advertised teenager driving lesson 4 hours behind the wheel, but never over an hour for each student, they alway came late to pick up my son. If you wanted full 4 hours you have to paid extra and if you want private that is extra that they never explain when you signed up. This is their common practice when parents signed up. This company is not honest, they did not tell me that after completion 4 hours behind the wheel (that I have to paid extra) to get the certificate they will charge $45 for it. All they said after 6 months they will send the certificate, when 6 months expired I call them to send my Son's certificate they said they have to charge me $45 extra this is observed, I talked to several Parents at the same school they said they did not pay anything for that certificate. This company is scammed parents need to be shut down.Desired Settlement: Need to refund my $45 and send out the certificate for my Son so he can have a test drive with DMV

We have reviewed the consumers file and spoke to the consumer today, as well he came in person and signed all forms he was fully satisfied with services and signed all receipts for his payments. After speaking to the consumer we understand he would like a credit of 45.00 credited to his account which we have honored as he has brought many consumers to our school and continues to do so, as well it is a priority for 100% customer service satisfaction to our clients. While we stand behind the fees charged for purposes of customer satisfaction we have issued a 45.00 check to the consumer.
Review: August of 2013 I paid $200 for my teenage daughter to attend driving school. When I was about to pay, the staff was very proactive in calling me to remind me they had limited openings. My daughter did the free public online testing but didn't have the time to attend the driving school or do behind wheel practice after all. The driving school conflicted with her school schedule and sports. Originally I had asked for a refund end of November and beginning of December, the receptionist said someone would get back to me. I called again beginning of 2013 and left voicemails and no one returned my call. I did speak to a lady who originally took my over the phone payment who said she would look into it and call me back. I never got a call. Five months later I am still waiting. Again leaving voicemails with no return calls. My daughter since then has graduated and leaves to the military in less than a month.Desired Settlement: I would like my $200 refunded back to my card.

Additional information particular to this complaint. Regarding the scheduling conflicting with her school schedule that is inaccurate and the scheduling is always done around the students school and sports schedules. Regarding several voicemails being left, that is also inaccurate, all calls received or voicemails left were returned. Regarding the date of Enrollment being August 2013, this is also inaccurate, as it not even August 2013 yet, so student most likely enrolled 2012, which is a very long and over due time for a consumer to just be contacting us at this time. We are still waiting over 6 months after giving the student services for her to contact and complete the program. Please have the consumer contact me and I will complete her services based on agreement between our company and the consumer with best of accommodation's with regards to scheduling before they leave. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I have not come to an agreement with this driving school. They are misleading and deceptive. They DO NOT tell you their terms and agreement until you ask for your money back. They avoid phone calls and do not return voicemails until you file a Revdex.com complaint or send a lawyer letter. They claim to send you a contract that I never received via US Mail. When I asked [redacted] (employee) for the owners' or corporate name and contact info, she said she has to call them first to ask if she can release it to me.?.? This company tries to tack on fees after the fact with NO contract. Almost a year later and they emailed me a "copied and paste" version of an agreement that was NEVER shown to me prior.
I want my $200 refunded as my daughter NEVER benefited from their behind the wheel driving school.
Regards,
Good service and driving instructors. Staff are always helpful with taking my two teens through the dmv process to get the permit and license. I would recommend this school for anyone looking for low rates along with good service.
Review: My son went through Worldwide to get his permit, then behind-the-wheel with one of their instructors. He received his lessons, the instructor did his job and my son is now driving very well. The problem came up today when he went to the DMV to take the license behind-the-wheel test. Apparently, the instructor failed to give my son the Certificate of Behind-the-wheel Completion paperwork. Have wasted 2 hours at the DMV in multiple lines, he is not able to take the test like he should have been able to. The website and voicemail system all have hours from 1p-7p Monday - Friday. We have been calling for nearly 2 hours and have never been able to talk to a representative. It goes directly to the voicemail system. We have left messages, with no return calls. We had to reschdule his appoitment and HOPE we hear back from someone before this time. I would love to deal with this with the company, if someone would answer the phone or return a call - it would be WONDERFUL! I have seen the other issues and posts made by others, but I have to say, the experience up until today has been pretty good. Calls to check on his progress on the online portion, calling to confirm drop off times and location for behind-the-wheel, instructor providing good techniques - all positive. But this is making it all very disheartening. My son waited for 6 months and now because of no fault of his own, he has to wait longer. Please someone from Worldwide contact me so I can get this paperwork.Desired Settlement: Give me the certificate so we can get back to waiting at the DMV.

Hi I apologize for delay as it has been very busy. I did help her and explained everything to her and they picked up the certificate and the mother was very satisfied and happy. I will try to send more information as soon as the times permits.
Also this mom called me and apologizes And was very happy and had miscommunication with DMV I believe or her husband but we had no complaint from her can I ask is this a new complaint? I contacted the customer directly almost 4 weeks ago and resolved and again she was very happy? Thanks.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. I did speak with a representative a few weeks back, there was miscommunication. The only thing to add is there response tine was slow. It took many many phone calls and complaining to get return call.
