Review: I went on snag-a-job.com and applied to a data entry clerk. I was interviewed on 1/26/15 and was given the job. I was told that they had closed all of their business and they are now a work from home business. I was told that I needed to send $203.00 to them in order to get the software put onto the computer and that they would reimburse me with my first paycheck. I was told that the company website was www.accesscompany.com and that the companies name was Worldwide Access. I sent the money to [redacted] and his cell phone number is ###-###-####. The person I have been in contact with is [redacted] and her yahoo id number is [redacted]. I sent the money as requested and I never received the computer so I could start working. I contacted Ms. [redacted] this morning and she told me that the computer was stuck in customs and that she needed another $193.00 to get it out of customs so I could have the computer delivered later today. I told her that I couldn't do that because I have been laid off for 6 months and I have no extra money to send to her, and that I wanted my money back for the computer. She told that she was sorry for the inconvenience and that she would contact the headquarters and try to get my money back. She never did get back with me.Desired Settlement: I want a refund from Ms. [redacted]. I am unemployed and in March I will become homeless because I will not have enough money to pay for rent. I was promised a job and instead all I'm getting is excuses now.
