A Mercury representative called me first thing this morning in response to my claim. First, he patiently listed to my perception of the situation. Then he explained that the...
customer service representative I spoke with on my 2nd contact with Mercury actually had already setup my account to terminate at the end of August (30-days from my date of notice) without any termination penalty. It is unfortunate that he didn't clearly convey that resolution to me. Had I known this at that time I would not have filed this complaint. Aside from the misunderstanding that resulted in my filing this claim, I am now perfectly satisfied with the resolution of my termination request with Mercury. I feel that Mercury has treated me fairly.
