We purchased a membership in 2023. After purchasing, we found that we didn't qualify for the majority of the trips due to age! They promised that they would make an exception. (Confirmation of the exception took many phone calls and emails). We booked a trip to Grand Cayman, receiving a confirmation. We soon realized we needed to change the date. I called and changed it to November of 2024. I then called back and asked them to confirm that the exception for age would not be a problem. They called the hotel and stated that everything was "go".
In October, I called World Wide to confirm the November trip. They realized there had been a problem when I changed the date, so they called the hotel to make sure they had availability in November. I made the mistake of just writing notes on the original reservation and not insisting that I get an emailed confirmation of the new reservation. I assumed that they had it handled after all of these conversations.
Well... we arrived at our hotel (Morrit's Tortuga), only to find out that they had no record of our reservation! We spent the afternoon (4 hours) on and off the phone with World Wide Vacations who kept saying it was our fault. Not only that, but we don't get any of our money back since it is now 2024, and we paid it in 2023! We then had to find another hotel on the island and we had to pay for that as well! I told them that I would be posting this on social media, but they didn't care. I gave them a week to make it right. No response from them at all!

I haven't taken any trips yet and really not a fan of the hard sell. I expect to retire soon and whatever my experience is, it will be reported here. I'm hoping this is not just hype. I need a real vacation after surviving the 21st century plague, called Covid.
