My son have a trip to go with them on Monday, ***. He had some medical issues on Saturday *** and took him in to the emergency room. They told me he has ***, it's a condition where ***. From that Saturday to Sunday it was very visible that ***. ***. I called World Classrooms on Monday to find out about a refund and to let them know what's going on. The person in charge *** was in as he was on a trip. So I left a message. Seen the dr on Tuesday and she stated the same thing any of these things can happen at any time plus his ***. Spoke to *** today and he said that he can try and pull some strings but the most he seen the company give back has been $*** and I paid a little over $*** and he said he even seen them as little as $***. He said the cancellation is 30 days prior to the trip date. I said this was a medical emergency and didn't have a clue 30 days ago that my son would get this. He said well speak to your dr. We do have insurance if we need to take him to the Er or if he needs to come home we can bring him back home or if we take him to the Er and he gets admitted then you just need to pay for your own airfare to get to where his at. I'm sorry to I'm super concerned about and why take to that point and I don't have money to fly from *** to ***. Plus the cost of everything else.

Refund i would love a refund in full but if not I would settle no less then $***. Thank you for taking your time and reading my long story.
We we're notified of *** having a medical illness/condition happen about 1 week before a school trip. We were told 4 days prior to departure he would not be traveling.
After checking for a possible replacement traveler at the school (to try to complete a ticket exchange/name swap), we ended up cancelling *** reservation. Per WC program policy, cancellation requests less than 30 days prior to trip departure, we are unable to issue refunds.
Due to the circumstance, we did make a request for refund. It was approved we were able to issue back a refund of $*** to the account, within 24 hours of them notifying us of the doctor's recommendation to not travel.
