My complaint is with my bank Worcester credit union, which has taken from me, out of my checking account an absurd amount of fees. Year to date they have charged me [redacted] in fees and [redacted] in returned items fees. I have left messages and finally talked to the branch manager Debby, and also talked to member service associate [redacted] concerning my shock and dismay, that my bank would charge my this absorbent amount of fees. [redacted] did return [redacted] in fees, and [redacted] called me and left a message, but has not returned my calls since. I'm having financial difficulties, and these fees have put me further in financial crisis. I have a wife who has traumatic brain injury and is disabled, her symptoms have worsened and has been hospitalized numberuos times this year. I have had to take over the role of paying the household bills, and with my wife's worsening injury, doctor visits, and hospitalizations, unfortunately my banking was not my foremost focus. I finally had a chance to check my accounts and to find out how much my bank has taken from my account, has only added to an already stressful situation. Trying to take care of my disabled wife, two children, and a step child, while already a financially stressful situation. To find out that my bank has charged me these ubsorbant amount of fees, has only made what was already a financially stressful situation and turn it into an unbelievably stressful situation. To charge me a [redacted] dollar fee on a [redacted] purchase, sometimes multiple times a day,without any alerts or notice is ludicrous. I would like my bank to at the very least spilt the fees in half and return me [redacted] or more. I have been a loyal customer for many years and deserve this consideration.Desired SettlementPlease return me at the very least half the fees charge this year.Business Response Worcester Credit Union and the member have reached an agreement on refunded fees. The member appears to be satisfied with response.
