Woodlawn nursery does not stand behind their merchandise In early April I bought oaks and a maple and paid the 70% extra to have Woodlawn deliver and plant them weeks later when the trees started leafing out, I discovered that all of these trees were 75% dead I called Woodlawn, they came out to take a look, and the manager agreed that the trees were in bad shape though technically still alive The manager agreed to looking into having them replaced, was going to check with the owner and call back Over the ensuing weeks I called him back nine times, left voicemails and messages with other Woodlawn personnel who promised the manager would respond Of course he never didA friend of mine had a similar experience He bought a three trunked river birch and had Woodlawn plant it in the fall In the spring it was clear that two of the three trunks were dead Woodlawn agreed that the two trunks were dead and offered to extend his warranty on the tree for another year but no refund or replacementIf you patronize Woodlawn, make sure you don't end up paying top dollar for dead trees
