I ordered cake for my daughter's 3rd birthday back in March 2020 then COVID hits, we had to cancel my daughter's birthday party. I told the Owner David, due to the situation we're canceling the order, told him when things get better I'll use my credit. I waited almost six months things are getting worse so I contacted the owner since I'm not able to use my credit requested a refund, his response was 'If I had to refund every customer's who canceled their order due to COVID we'll be out of business? I tried to despite the charges but since I purchased through PayPal I couldn't get my refund. They offerded store credit which I will not be able to use soon.

Refund I would like them to concisder to refund the money sine we haven't received the product.
On March 9th 2020, the client placed an order for a Gluten and Sugar Free Birthday Cake to be picked up on March 27th /2020. An electronic invoice, as well as the Work Order for the cake with all the details was sent via email. The work order clearly shows our cancellation and refund policy. Attached we are submitting a copy of the Work Order, which the client have the opportunity to review prior to submitting her payment, as well as our refund/cancellation policy,
Because everything we do is custom made, specially orders with dietary restrictions, Wonder Cake Creations enforces its cancellation policy where any order cancelled 7 or more days prior to the delivery date will receive a 50% store credit. For this case in particular the gluten/sugar free materials for the client, were purchased the day she submitted her payment. The client reached out to us via text on March 17th, (10 days prior to the delivery of the cake) to notify us the event has been cancelled because of the Covid-19 situation, and stated she will provide a new date for the cake to be picked up. The event was cancelled but the order was not. (Attached you will find a copy of the text thread with the client). On July 23rd (Way past the original due date to deliver the initial order) The client reached out to us again requesting information about a dummy cake instead of a real cake and then requested a full refund. It was explained to her that she agreed to our cancellation/refund policy once she processed her payment, she was told that we understood it was a difficult time for everyone due to the pandemic, the reason why we offered a 100% store credit instead of the 50% and that she could use the store credit without time restrictions. (Store credits are valid for 1 year).
Attached you will find a copy of the original Work Order sent to the client with Wonder Cake Creations REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY as well as the text thread communication with the client. As you can see we tried really hard to work with the client and presented extended options for her, we strongly feel we were more than fair, and we will still honor the store credit for the full amount which can used at any time - no time limitations. The client already published terrible reviews on the Internet making baseless claims with the clear intention to damage and sabotage our business. If this behavior continues, we will look legal counsel and start pursuing damages.

First and foremost the business didn't provide any cancellations policy prior making my purchase. As for the store credit I waited 6 months hoping to order in the future. At this point I will not be comfortable to place a future order with this business therefore they should refund my credit card. As for the review I have the right to compliant and write my experience with the business that's what reviews is for. Please by any means seek any legal counsel. If this business continue to refuse to refund my credit by the end of this month I will take this matter to small court. This is absolutely wrong.
Once again the customer is lying. Attached you will find a copy of the email sent on March 9, 2020 at 7:00pm, indicating the Work order is attached to the email. The work order includes all the details, for the order, date, price, total of servings and the REFUND/CANCELLATION policy. Our initial position was to issue a standard store credit 50% of the amount paid, to be used within a year, we already moved forward and offered a full store credit without time restrictions. This is not the first time the client placed and order with us. On July 22th 2019, the client purchased a custom cake which was picked by the clients's husband on 08/22/2019, three days later after the order was completed we followed up with the client to see how everything went with he cake and her reply was and I quote "The cake was beautiful and delicious! Thank you so much!" - There is not reason why the client has any doubts or does not feel comfortable with the quality of our product.

Obviously this business doesn't have any value for their customers. Calling names exhibit how unprofessional they are. Like I said before I'm not accepting their store credit. I don't feel comfortable ordering any future order therefore I would like my full credit back to my credit card by the end of this month. If it wasn't for COVID situation I wouldn't have canceled my order.
