W&M Construction was hired to replace a sidewalk on the side of our home. From the beginning, we had trouble contacting the company to get a start date. When we finally reached Willy (the owner of the company) he said he would begin on a Thursday afternoon. Willy arrived to our home sometime after 6pm when it was dark outside, to begin tearing out the old sidewalk. Because it was dark, Willy ran his Bobcat machine into a brick retaining wall in our yard which knocked down half of the brick planter attached to it and broke multiple bricks. At the time, Willy said he would repair the damage he caused. As the work on the sidewalk progressed we noticed the brick retaining wall/planter was not being repaired. Willy said he would do the repairs following the completion of the sidewalk. He had arranged to come back on a Saturday for the repairs. He did not show up. We contacted him and he said he would be out on Monday. He did not show up. Since then we have made multiple attempts to have him come repair the damage he did to the retaining wall and he is unresponsive. The work for the sidewalk has been paid for in full. We asked for a receipt for our payment and he has not provided it. We have photos available.
