Wise Guys Roofing & Siding

Review: We contracted Wise Guys Roofing and Siding to replace damaged vinyl siding near our deck. To make the repair less visible, siding was used from another area of our house for the repair, and new siding was installed where the old was removed.

After the work was completed and I had remitted payment, I noticed that where the new siding was installed, the J-channel immediately above the replaced area had a 4 inch crack and that the siding right beside this crack was shifted to the right leaving a gap between the cracked channel and the siding. Later I also noticed that the downspout on the deck was never resecured - it is missing three screws.

On May 1st and 2nd, I emailed the company about these issues and included a photo of the damage. I received a response on May 3rd saying he would be by that day to take a look. No one showed up that day or responded to my next email on May 6th. I left a message on May 10th and received no response.Desired Settlement: I have requested that the company reattach the downspout, replace the j-channel they damaged, and adjust the siding so it is installed correctly.

Review: We agreed to have siding work performed on a property. Contractor has not performed the work. I paid the contractor $2,545.00 so far and none of the work has been started. The contractor has not contacted my after at least 10 attempts from me.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the work completed on the house soon, If not, I want a refund of my $2,545.00 partial payment.
