I apologize for the response time as I have been out of the office until this past weekIn regards to the complaint for the ID number listed above, my company policy on a Lay-Away is for months with payments due monthlyI have enclosed items to support this including a Sales Receipt and a copy
of the Signs I have posted in the storeThe Sales Receipt lists the terms of the Lay-Away Agreement on the back side and the Signs I have in the store saying "We will gladly Exchange or Credit Returns, Sorry, No Cash Refunds"In addition, the customer felt as though I did not respond to their request as quickly as they had anticipated, however, my staff was waiting to hear back from the manufacturer as to what we would need to pay for a re-stocking feeA 10% fee was charged to the customer and taken out of the balance of what they had already paid to compensate for the manufacturers feesA check was written to them for the balance and a family member picked the check upIt posted to the business checking account on June 16th, There has been no further contact with this customer since June 14, and I feel that this matter has been dealt with in an appropriate mannerPlease feel free to contact me at the above address or phone if you have any additional questions or concerns
