Winery at La Grange

Review: My spouse and I decided to get a wine club membership in September of 2013. In October of 2013, we were no longer satisfied with our membership and canceled it. In May of 2014 a charge came through on our checking account for the wine membership we had previously canceled. When we initially called about it, La Grange reversed the funds before they posted to our account. However, three days later, the charge came through again. We were told La Grange would do some research with their card processing company and call us back. After waiting almost a month for this issue to be resolved, we were informed there was nothing else that could be done. We were also told manager Katie had emailed us back and would contact us as soon as possible. Katie never in fact emailed us back nor did she follow up to make right the charges that were not authorized to debit our account. We received applicable fees in our checking account as a result and were unable to pay several important bills in a timely manner. Additionally, the more often we had to call back in order to get this issue resolved, the more curt management got with us. Considering I work as a supervisor at a major financial institution, the lack of customer service and willingness to make this issue right, is an extreme disappointment.Desired Settlement: I want the $161.00 credited back to my checking account.
