First I have been a loyal customer of many years. - We have known Mr. H[redacted] for years and we value his business with Windy City Cigars. I have been trying to place an order with no luck for 3 days, on their new and terrible web page. - We have launched a new website in the last two months and we...
have experienced some problems with the new site. We had a demosite on the sever which was indexed by [redacted] and may have been the page Mr. H[redacted] tried to order from which if were the case would not have work properly. This demosite has since been removed and taken down. We had no record of his order but do see that he cancelled. I have written and requested CHAT 2 times with no response. I tried to place an order using [redacted] to pay. When [redacted] opens their web has changed my economy shipping request of $11.99 to [redacted] 2 day at $61.49. And now their web page will not release this shipping amount for a new order. - Due to Mr. H[redacted] possibly going to the incorrect website (the demosite looks exactly like our new site but has a different url) we were not aware of his problem, or his attempt to contact us. As for the phone calls to our office we are open M-F from 8am to 5pm cst. So we’re not sure why he was not reaching us during business hours, or not able to leave a message. - Once Mr. H[redacted] did call during business hours we spoke to him and explained our situation with our new and how he may have gone to the wrong to place his order. We advised Mr. H[redacted] that he could always call and place his order over the phone to make sure it was accepted correctly and he said he would continue to use our business. Just keep charging me the [redacted] 2 day amt. I have cancelled order #[redacted] but no luck and no one answers you phone nor your online chat. - Again here we feel Mr. H[redacted] may have logged into our demosite and not our actual web page, so he was not able to reach anyone on our end. Just a rewind of the recorded message to "Press 1 to talk to a customer service representative" Over and over again. Chat says no one is available. I have requested a call 4 times now. Roger - Im not sure what time Mr. H[redacted] was calling but when he called during business hours we had no problem talking with him directly and explaining to him what happened.
