Complaint # [redacted] Company Information:Wlndowiint.comNCuyamaca StEl Cajon, CA 92020In Response to complaint from Customer [redacted] E [redacted] :Mr [redacted] placed his order online through [redacted] .cgmHe ordered a 36-lnch by 24~inchpiece of BLACKOUT film, descnbed as completely opaque In Its descriptionWe custom-cut hisorder and shipped it without incidentOnce he received his custom order of BLACKOUT film, hecalled and clarified that he wanted film that was see-through from the Inside and did not want anopaque filmWe explained that that was not what he ordered, and that we would be happy to·create a new order for the film he wanted, but that we could not do anything about the Incorrectorder because it was custom cutWe explained that he had agreed to our Terms andConditions, which clearly explain that custom pieces cannot be resold and are, therefore,neither refundable nor returnableSince Mr [redacted] didn't want to reorder, and there wasnothing more we could do for him, the call was concluded.Mr [redacted] then called back later and claimed to have been "shorted" on his custom cuts.After much discussion about our return policy and about his previous call wherein he told us hewanted a different film, we gave In and approved a returnHe was told that as long as the filmhad not been altered, he would go against our return policy and Issue a full refund when wereceived It backIt was also explained we would not be responsible for shipping costs, since Itwas not our mistakeI personally told the information to Mr [redacted] and noted hi hisaccount that the return was approved.Approximately a week after the order was approved to be returned, Mr [redacted] calleddemanding that we pay for the shipping cost to return the film and give him a FULL refundIncluding the original shippingI once again told him our policy for returns and reminded him ofthe terms and conditions that he agreed to when he placed his orderHe asked for the name ofthe Owner of the company, which I gave himThen he proceeded to ask for my last name andmore personal information, which I refused to divulgeAt this point he proceeded to curse at meand hurl ridiculous accusationsI told him I would disconnect the line If he continuedHe said afew more choice words and I hung up the phone.On July 9, [redacted] processed a FULL REFUND without our consent and we neverreceived any of our product back.Please see attached InvoiceMr [redacted] 's accusations are ludicrous and falseHe wasnever misinformed nor treated rudelyMr [redacted] made a mistake and, rather than admit It,he chose to waste our time, steal our product, berate and offend our staff, and now he's trying tomalign our reputation[redacted] C.WiodowTint.cgmCustomer Service Manager(866) [redacted]
