Review: Continue to get random calls from this company that calls themselves windows solutions and states that my computer is broadcasting to world servers. Now I've never purchased anything nor have I been in touch with this company ever in my life. My pc is rarely used and when its not being used it is disconnected so I have no idea what these people are talking about. They are always real mean to me and treat me like im dumb. Its starting to feel like they are harassing me but they always call from a blocked number so it cant be traced. I don't know what to do anymore.Desired Settlement: I just want them to stop contacting me because I feel like im being attacked and no one should have to go through that.
Review: Windows Solution World first started contacting me about 3 months ago (the caller ID said it was the NY Food Bank calling - ###-###-#### (defunct moviephone number). I am on the National Do Not Call List. I answered the phone because I thought they were a legitimate charity but instead a man with a heavy Indian accent, named [redacted] or [redacted] depending on the day, claims to be from [redacted], wanted me to download a remote viewer on my computer to "show" me the virus' on my computer. The caller got very upset when I explained I do not have a windows computer and started cursing at me and calling me a liar and demanding that I do as he says. Anyway I hung up on him and then the harassment began. They started calling approximately 3 - 6 times a day and just hanging up when I pick up the phone. I finally realized that I can block the phone number, but they caught on and are now calling from a private number. I am tired of being harassed by criminals.
When pressed they gave me a call back number of ###-###-#### - I did not even try calling it because it does not match the mailing address.Desired Settlement: $100 dollars for every fraudulent phone call they have made not only to me but other people they are trying to scam.
