Accepted his quote . He never corresponded again. Went with Lowe's!
I apologize for the misunderstanding. I see you called on 7/21 to set up an estimate and Lance seen you on the 22nd. We leave quotes and business cards at every appointment for the homeowners to let us know when they want to buy. The estimators follow up within 30 days (it has just been 10 business days). We try not to be pushy in customers decisions because these are usually big projects for customers. I tried reaching out and would like the opportunity to discuss this estimate so that we don't make the same mistakes in the future. You may reach out anytime and ask for Bobby.
As I told Bobby today I contacted the estimator, Lance , by phone on July 23rd, the day after the estimate was made. I told him to send us a contract we would like to proceed ASAP. Lance replied he would have the contract to us immediately. We never heard from him again. No contract no nothing. We went with Lowe's instead.
Bobby was very kind when we spoke and will speak with the estimator I'm sure. Lack of communication is bad business practice.
My experience started off well when I had this outfit give me a quote for putting full siding on my house. Prompt reply, courteous sales representative, and they worked this job into their schedule, though it took almost 4 months to get installed. Let's fast forward 10 months. Inclement weather with strong winds in late July 2018 exposed several areas where the siding wasn't tacked down properly (this was a big job, I understand a couple areas may not have been installed right). What I don't understand is why, after contacting WW several times, forwarded pictures of siding clearly not attached according to proper installation protocols, have they not come to my house to assess the issues and offered to fix? Seriously? Zero follow up.
Disappointed
We ordered the siding to repair the damage on 8/7. It was a special order color. It usually takes 2 to 3 weeks to get. We had already spoke to McCollum this morning and scheduled him for Monday. We usually don't call to schedule until material arrives. The siding is arriving this afternoon or in the morning. I apologized for not calling in between those times and he agreed to retract his note as soon as we do the work.
Spoke with a manager at WW yesterday regarding the status of siding at my house. Apparently the replacement siding had been ordered after it was assessed that 4 pieces need to be replaced. This information had not been conveyed to me, however, I am pleased to learn that action has been taken and look forward to seeing the finished product in the coming days.
