Review: I placed an order on March 8th for a wind turbine kit and never received all of the major necessary parts that were supposed to be included with the kit. IE: turbine blades... I have contacted the business multiple times, each month, via email and phone. Each time I was promised that it would ship the next week. It's now been over 3 months and I've realized that I will never receive the rest of the kit and that I have fell for a big scam!Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded for the turbine kit and only billed only for the generator that I have received.

Response:
NOT ONCE HAVE I EVER RECEIVED ANY TRACKING INFORMATION FROM YOU!!! DO YOU HONESTLY THINK THAT I WOULD GO THROUGH THE TROUBLE AND HAVE THE TIME TO FILE COMPLAINTS JUST FOR FUN?! AND FURTHER MORE, I ORDERED THIS KIT BACK IN MARCH! HERE'S AN IDEA, TRY TELLING THE CUSTOMER THAT IT TAKES 4-6 MONTHS AND FILING A COMPLAINT TO GET YOUR ORDER! I'M SURE NO ONE WOULD FALL FOR YOUR SCAM THEN!

Response:
An email was send as well as the [redacted] tracking information [redacted] The shipment was processed and sent on 5/07/14 and is schedule for delivery today. The follow is my reply to the email Mr. [redacted] sent on : The tracking was forwarded and you can
clearly see that the item was shipped prior to you filing the complaint.
Whether you received it or not I have no idea. Look at the time stamp
and the definition of a scam. I don't think we would have self regulated
the issue without any external pressure if that were the case. I do not have the need
to build and entire wind turbine without sending the blades to "scam"
you out of a few dollars. I don't need the stress and I am not arguing
with you.Your obviously mad and that is your god given right but I am
not arguing with you. Like it or not mistakes happen and we did make one which I freely admit but that does not make it a scam as sent 500$ worth of a 700$ order so the customer has a non functioning product simply makes no sense. Nor would we have sent the part prior to this report being filed if we had intended not to send them. At this point I have no further commentary.

Regards,
Review: I ordered a wind turbine from Hurricane Wind Power which arrived quickly and looks to be very well made. Next, I placed an order over the internet for all the supporting electronics needed to harness the electricity and safely run the turbine, and also I place an additional order over the phone after talking with [redacted] about the best possible controller and inverter combination. [redacted] was very helpful when I was placing the order. In total the two orders were for over $3,700. Both orders were placed in mid November 2014, and three months later [redacted] has still not shipped my order. I have called him numerous times and each time he promised to ship the order soon and gives me excuses of why he could not ship the time before. [redacted] has promised to call me back, and he never calls me back as promised, so I have to call him. He builds what appears to be a good product, but it is hard to say since he cannot deliver product as promised. I really had hoped resolve this matter with Hurricane Wind Power, but at this point it is clear that [redacted] is unable to provide the product he sells on his website.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund for the product that I ordered over the internet and over the phone that I have not received.

Response:
The facts regarding this complaint are not correct. I will work with the buyer to resolve the issue however the statement of fact is off here and that is all we will say at this juncture. I will review tracking on this order and reply with a more formal response

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted]. Since the compliant was filed I have had phone calls and emails with the company to work out the issue of getting me the product that was not shipped instead of a refund.
I have received part of my order from Hurricane Wind Power, and they have been in contact with me about the items that are still outstanding. They have promised to have the remainder of the order shipped by the end of the this week.

Business

Review: JAN 13 I agreed to pay wind turbine power $729.89 for his product.IT WAS PARTIALLY SHIPPED OUT
ON FEB. 20TH. ONE OF TWO BOXES, I HAD TO CALL TO GET THE REST OF THE ORDER
SHIPPED, AND TO INFORM HIM THAT SOME PARTS WERE MISSING ,AND ALSO THAT I HAD
NOT RECEIVED THE SECOND SHIPMENT. ONE WEEK LATER I RECEIVED IT.AS OF THIS DATE
I HAVE YET TO RECEIVED THE MISSING PARTS. DUE TO NOISE IN THE PMA GENERATOR HE
AGREED TO CREDIT PAYPAL BACK $399.00 I RETURNED IT AT A COST OF 30.00DOLLARS TO
HIM. USPS TRACKING # [redacted]. HE RECEIVED IT ON 3/11/14 I THEN
RECEIVED A E-MAIL FROM THE OWNER STATING THE ITEM IS DEFECTIVE . WITH THE PMA
DEFECTIVE THE BRACKETS AND MOUNTING VAIN WAS NOT COMPATIBLE AND NOT OF ANY USE
TO ME. ON /21/14 RETURNED IT ALSO TRACKING #
[redacted] COST TO ME $30.45 I HAVE NOT BEEN CREDIT. THE OWNER SELLS THE
TWO RETURNED ITEMS FOR $399.99 and for
$199.99 EACH. I I'M EXPECTING A TOTAL SUM OF $585.67.INCLUDING SHIPPING.I
WAS CHARGED SHIPPING. THANK YOU FOR HELP.
Correction:
The figures I listed in my complaint of 4/2/14 are
incorrect. The total of the 2 items are $399.00 and $199.00, totaling
$599.99. I paid shipping charges of $30.45 and $55.22 to return the two
items; so, the correct total should be $685.66.
Thanks,
Desired Settlement: Refund

This buyer received goods then attempted to get his money back via paypal without returning the merchandise. He has returned a damaged alternator that had shipping damage including the generator shaft being pushed out the back of the casing upon return shipping by failure to ship in a manner consistent with the guidelines of UPS or USPS. I have communicated with the buyer that I would work out the credit that could be offered and apparently this he expects this to happen faster than I have had time to assess what I could do for him. Further buyer paid 699.99 for a wind turbine kept a blade set that retails over $200 and expects to get back 685 and some change. This is not going to happen. I will refund the amount paid minus damage to the PMA and the current sale price for the mount. I had advised Mr. [redacted] that I would do the best we could for him in terms of the return. Since this will be handled in a manner that will impact my business reputation Mr. [redacted] will receive current retail minus pma shipping damage and current sale price.

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
It took nearly two months to receive both shipments of the order. The larger box of the order came through damaged (see attached pictures). When the UPS driver delivered it, he told me that he had made a note of the damage and found pieces of the hardware on the floor of his truck and put them in the box. I also discovered that the nuts and bolts needed to attach the blades were missing. The seller said he would send them to me. I have never received them. I was away when the large package arrived; the dates on the pictures are when I opened the package.
I did not try to obtain a refund prior to returning the merchandise. In fact, PayPal won't even open a dispute without a tracking number. I'm not asking for a refund of the total amount that includes the blades, only the itemized amount for each of the returned items, the amount based on the listed price on his web site at the time I purchased the items ($399.99 for the PMA and $199 for the mount/tail vane) and my return shipping costs (receipts attached).
I took great care when packaging the items for return. The PMA was double boxed in the same manner in which it was shipped to me. USPS would not have accepted it if it had not met their guidelines.
The seller indicated through email that an internal wire in the PMA had a short in it; that happened in the building of the PMA. A copy of this email is attached. There should be no shipping damage deducted from my refund.
The seller stated that these items are currently on sale. His website does not currently reflect that and I have a receipt for the full amount I paid. I paid shipping charges when I placed the order and I should not have to pay shipping charges to return a defective and incomplete order.
To date, the seller has made no attempt to refund any of this order and has not contacted me through email or by phone.

Please amend response to complaint.
Buyer has purchased a wind turbine kit for a retail price of 699.99 and
requested a refund of approximately 685.00 while keeping a blade and
hub set valued at 239.99 retail and a 6 conductor slip ring valued at 59.99 retail. If buyer expects a full refund all of the wind turbine kit
must be returned. Per policy we do not pay for return shipping. Customer was
instructed on need for proper packing materials prior to return
dismissed my instructions stating his "familiarity
with shipping". Essentially the generator rear casing was cracked and
one of the armatures had a broken wire. The units are ohm tested prior
to shipping and do not go out like that.I offered to work with consumer
to arrive at a fair deal and he dismissed offer and opened a complaint
with Revdex.com. All components of the kit must be returned for refund since
consumer is unwilling to work with us so that he may keep the blade set
he communicated he wanted to keep.
The products must be returned as well as the slip ring mounting housing for full refund consideration. No refund has or will be issued until this complaint is closed with an agreed resolution.
Essentially the generator damage in shipping we will cover. The shipping costs the customer incurred to do the return we will not cover as their was no defective product. To receive a refund of 699.99 the paid price of the turbine the buyer must return the blade set hub as well as the slip ring assembly undamaged.

I do not accept the seller's response for the following reasons:
I have attached a copy of the seller's email to me of 3/18/14 as well as his response of 4/9/14. When the seller emailed me on March 18, he acknowledged that the generator had an internal problem and he could not explain how it happened (see attached copy of seller's email). If the rear casing had a crack upon return, he would certainly have told me then. Now, in his April 9 response (see attached), he is trying to say that the casing cracked during return shipping. The generator was returned to him double boxed and packed properly. When he received the return, he made no mention of any damage to the box or the generator casing.
The seller has my money and two returned parts. I am entitled to and asking for a refund of those two parts. The generator lists for $399.99 on his website and the alternator mount lists for $199.99 on his website.

The buyer has not returned the $300 in merchandise and has filed a chargeback with his credit card company. We filed a counter claim. We feel the Revdex.com was used in a inappropriate manner to leverage and steal from our company. The buyer appears to have no intent on returning the merchandise for a refund and has made every attempt imaginable to keep $ 300 in merchandise. At this juncture we intend to file a criminal complaint against the buyer if the good are not returned. We will be glad to issue a refund but are having trouble understanding why we have an open complaint with the buyer refusing to return the wind turbine kit. I would ask you to look at the complaint and advise.

The buyer does not address the fact that he has the 259.99 blades set and 59.99 6 conductor slip ring. The buyer bought the turbine at a discounted rate as a set and must return the entire set to get the refund of 699.99. The buyer has essential ignored the fact that we have stated regardless of the fact he shipped the generator inappropriately causing damage we would take care of the repairs. He has further ignored the simple request to return the blade set and slip ring assembly valued at $319.98.
Based on his assessment that the we refund at retail we request the buyer kindly pay the retail prices for the components in which case we will be glad to refund the prices at retail.

Please amend response to advise the consumer based on his defamatory review that indicates we had "both boxes for 4 weeks that was dated the 4th and this was not dropped off until the evening of the 25th he will be sued for defamation unless this is amended or removed. We have screen shot of this going to our attorney today. Please further note that the box weight on the only package big enough to carry our blades is 16 lbs short. This consumer changing his mind repeatedly about what he wanted to keep and return is what held up the return from the pma
