Winchester Industries

I got vinyl windows from these folks (essentially, under [redacted] and [redacted] brand names) about 9 years ago. In the time since, we've had some mechanical difficulties with the brakes on all of the sliders, and 3 of the 23 have had an obvious seal malfunction leading to moisture inside the windows. The warranty they have doesn't cover 'shipping' or installation. When I inquired about replacing the windows with failed seals, they wanted approximately $750 to ship the windows from Pennsylvania to Colorado. I didn't think it would be cheap, but buying the windows brand new costs about the same. ...and while they were helpful in referring me to a local installer or two, ultimately I'm on my own for getting someone to install them as the two local contractors that originally installed my windows are out of business. I would suggest avoiding these guys in favor of more nationally recognized brands.
