July 23, 2015Dear *** ***:This communication responds to a complaint made by *** *** *** to the Revdex.com*** *** claims that our Winchester Family Health Center refused medical attention to his son because he missed a previous appointment.We regret and apologize for the
inconvenience caused *** *** and his sonIn reviewing our records we noted that *** ***'s son did not have an appointment or call ahead when he arrived on the day in question, nor was his son a current patient of one of our cliniciansIn order to best serve those with scheduled appointments we see them as close to their scheduled appointment as possible, and care for wapatients as soon as there is a clinician available or their medical condition demandsUnfortunately this sometimes results in a wapatient having to wait longer than they and we would like.We would welcome *** *** and or his son making an appointment in the future and becoming an established patient given that we have the expertise to provide the clinical care they are in need of.Thank you for bringing this matter to my attention.Sincerely,David F.Chief Executive Officer

In reviewing our records we noted that [redacted]'s son did not have an appointment or call ahead when he arrived on the day in question, nor was his son a current patient of one of our clinicians. In order to best serve those with scheduled appointments we see them as close to their scheduled appointment as possible, and care for walk-in patients as soon as there is a clinician available or their medical condition demands. Unfortunately this sometimes results in a walk-in patient having to wait longer than they and we would like.We would welcome [redacted] and or his son making an appointment in the future and becoming an established patient given that we have the expertise to provide the clinical care they are in need of.
